"This place was a real surprise. The apartment was spacious and a refreshing change to staying in a hotel room. It had a balcony overlooking the main road and the waterfront perfect to watch the world go by in comfort. It is rustic in keeping with the building but nicely decorated. A great find!"

"The water pressure in the shower was far too low, and you had to wait about 10 minutes for hot water. Otherwise, everything was fine. Breakfast on the roof was fantastic."

"This location is about a 20 minute walk to the sea coast. The walk offers a lot to take in within old Alexandria. The location itself is safe, the front desk is excellent, and is welcoming. I would recommend this location for an adventure seeking travelers."

"I wish I could give this place minus. Avoid if u are traveling alone or generally are a woman. Or if u are a breathing human being. The receptionist came to my room by false pretense there was water problem at 23:00 and made advances. I asked him to leave, he said sorry but it was too late. I was shocked and pissed. "Lovely decor from the colonial era, large well furnished room, but the wrought iron balcony railings desperately need cleaning and repainting to preserve them. The lift is glorious, and operates beautifully."

"I have stayed two night in the the hotel. First impression was not good at all. the hotel is directly on the Cornish, but I have not spotted it because it has no name shown on the 11 story building..!! What makes it even worse, I tried to call the hotel on the number provided by Expedia, and it was one of the staff own personal mobile phone, and the irony is that guy didn't know how to guide me and didn't know what the building looks like or its colour :D Anyway, the location is great, beach...
