"This was our second stay with Belizean Coves Estate, and it won't be our last. Service was (as always) impeccable along with the amenities. My grandchildren were in the pool and the staff (without asking) got floaties out for them to use. That's the kind of service you receive here."
"The property is nice. It’s about a one hour drive from the resort to San Pedro via car. The resort had a golf cart available for rent to take on a day outing. The drive to the city via golf cart is about 1hour 20min. I felt like we were on our own private jungle tour driving to the city on the golf cart. The road is extremely dark at night so rent the golf cart early so you can enjoy the city before night fall. The mosquitos will carry you away so bring ALOT of bug repellent. Definitely need...

"Portofino is a beautiful, quaint little resort. We have stayed in their small cabanas a number of times. They are rustic and simple. The resort grounds include a lovely salt water pool, a dock, a small reception area, a small outdoor bar with a beautiful patio under large sea grape trees as well as a restaurant above the reception area that overlooks the gorgeous sea and barrier reef.
