We came in with kids who had been in the car all day. They were full of energy and the attendant didn’t even think twice when I asked for a ground floor room so they wouldn’t disturb anybody.
No automatic doors meant it was hard to get luggage in and out on a luggage cart.
It was hard to get into the parking lot from the freeway. The oncoming traffic does not yield, but that isn’t the fault of the hotel.
The mattresses were harder than other hotels I’ve stayed at, but the pillows were great, and they were large.
The room was clean but there was a bit of a smell. I couldn’t tell if it was musty or if somebody had been smoking in the building. The room did not smell, just the hallways.
The hot breakfast was outstanding! There were options for everybody. It was all fresh, hot, and cooked perfectly. The eggs were real, the biscuits were huge, and there were a ton of options even though the dining area is deceptively small. The attendant was really on top of refilling everything and cleaning up. We will probably stay here again just for the breakfast quality.
