"Beautiful location with lovely mountain view. Nicely decorated hotel and room. Pool area was lovely. The breakfast buffet was amazing as included in the price of the room. We were welcomed in the most wonderful way - given some coupons for the local brewry and the restaurant next door. We definitely stay there again."

"Our stay was just my daughter and I for one night. The property was well kept, sheets were amazingly comfortable. Staff was attentive to needs and all of our silly questions. On-site restaurant was yummy and their staff was also great. This was a first trip to Fernie, we will be back and most certainly will be booking our stay with the Stanford. "

"We only stayed one night here (on a hot day in july) and were dissapointed to find out, that the pool was closed. (one of the reassons we booked this hotel). Our room in the main building was quite big and the bed was great. The restaurant was recomendable and the staff here really nice and friendly."

It was really nicely done, my son saying it was one of the best hotel showers with lots of bathroom supplies, and the beds and bedding being very comfortable. There was also a handy charging port on a desk. There was enough space for four of us, and there was a good sized fridge and a microwave.
