"Hotel was amazing: Right from the moment you enter the property you will feel romantic vibes as driving through the cypress alley to the hotel. The rooms are decorated very cosy and romantic. The restaurant is located with a perfect with to Siena and the surronding vineyards and serves great food and wines (own production). The two swimming pools are great and deep. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect romantic hideout in Toscana...

"This "hotel" is actually a small ancient village that's been restored as a resort. It's extraordinary, though keep in mind that you'll walk outside to go to the restaurants, the lobby, etc. We absolutely loved this. Our suite had a massive patio and amazing sunset views, though our west-facing view was just trees and not the quintessential Tuscan farmland and rolling-hills view; for that you will want a suite in Alto-Borgo, the slightly uphill part of the resort with perfect southeast-facing...

"Hi, I’m not at all satisfied with this hotel. It was warm and there was no air conditioning. We opened the window but the hotel is by the Main Street so it was very loud. We fell asleep at 2 am. We complained and the receptionist, in a very rude way, told us that she can’t help and we should complain elsewhere. Well, here we are. We pay to get a good night sleep and we trust hotels.com for all our trips. I really expect a refund for the night as a minimum. It’s unacceptable!"

"The place was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Just what we needed to unwind and relax. Location was great - close enough to walk to several restaurants and wineries. The pool area was amazing with lots of sun beds and a bar, and beautiful landscape. The bed was so comfortable! We didn’t want to leave this place. Loved it!!"

"The hotel room was run down. The electrical outlet did not work, the shower head was broken, the Wi-Fi had no internet connection and the air condition only worked with a remote operated by the reception, which they failed to tell us. In all, there was a room and a bed, but service and basic facilities was a bust, I would not recommend this place to any one"

"Dejlige omgivelser, vi havde et fint ophold, men der er mulighed for forbedring på en række punkter. Vi boede i et værelse i annekset, og toilettet i fælles området som vi fik oplyst var til fri afbenyttelse, blev ikke gjort rent. Der var kakkelakker og der manglede papir og rengøring. Køleskabet virkede ikke og var alt for varmt (10 grader) og kunne ikke indstilles. Elkedlen virkede ikke. Generelt smukke omgivelser men det virkede som om, at det trængte til en kærlig hånd og lidt (mere)...

"The only positive thing about the hotel was the bed, which was ok. Staff was not pleasant and could figure out if wifi should be available on 4. and 5.floor. It wasn't. Bathroom was in a bad state with visible black spots on white ceiling and rust on heater. One comment I read before booking was regarding the location. I must say that the hotel fits perfectly in its surroundings. Town was dead. "
