"There are many better choices for places to stay in Troncones where the staff and management care about the wellbeing of the guests and the upkeep of the property. Regrettably, our toilet did not flush, the shower curtain fell continously off the wall, the bed was broken and semi collapsed when we sat on it, there were only 8 beach lounge chairs so we could not ever relax and enjoy the view, the foot wash was not filled dragging sand into our room, people who were not guests were welcomed to the...

"Fabulous stay at Casa Manzanillo! This place is an absolute gem. Gorgeous grounds, best view from the pool and pretty much every space. The staff is super friendly and takes care of you so well. "We visited Troncones for our Spring Break trip with 3 of our friends family's. 16 people total, 8 kids, 8 adults (ages 5-10). This part of Mexico is so special and untouched and felt very safe. "Wonderful, very responsive hosts. One thing that was not totally clear to us until we got there is that all common areas, kitchen, dining, couches, are outdoors (as with most rentals in the area), only the bedrooms are "indoors" with AC. But to open your bedroom and see the gorgeous beach just steps away––wow. That's heaven."

"This house is pretty awesome. Has all the necessities for a surf trip. In addition, the communication between the property managers is top notch. Wifi is down? Ericka is on it. Ac not working? Roberto is there taking care of it same day. Assuming this house doesn’t get sold, I’ll definitely be coming back here. Note: be respectful of the locals needs. I.e., keep the gate closed, drive slowly, keep a low social media presence, and you’ll have a great time."

Beatiful place, terrible service
"Irma is located beatiful, with magnificent view over the Zihuatanejo bay. The pool area is great too. The service are not good; check-in was a drag. The english language was a Challenge at reception. We prepaid for 5 people, only showed up 4, still they wanted us two pay xtra because the child was 13 and for them an adult. We wrote the age before we paid…. In the end, they understood, that we had already paid for 4 adult in advance… During the stay, the reception seemed indifferent when we got back to the hotel, often not even looking up, at times not there. Mandatory to wear pink armbands during the stay, hate it. Loooong waiting time at breakfast, which we paid for. Not enough service around the pool. We had, previous to our 6 days at Irma, spend 6 days in a hotel less than half the Price of Irma, also in Zihuatanejo, their service was easily twice as good ! So were their attention towards their guests ! Our opinion is, that Irma lives from their location, not their hotel skills. "
