Perfect location to lift to First - just across the street.
Free bus ticket to the area and 10 min with the bus to Terminal to mountain/lift for Männlichen and Eiger.

"Besøg af 2 personer 5-9/6/25. Fantastisk hyggeligt hotel, perfekt beliggenhed i Wengen. Havde værelse #18 med balkon og udsigt over hyggelig have, park og Jungfrau-bjerget i baggrunden. Perfekt base til en forlænget weekend med mange vandreture i bjergene (Männlichen, Kleine Scheidegg og foden af Eiger). Lækker morgenmad og aftensmad med fint udvalg og høj kvalitet. "It is a very traditional Swiss hotel. Located very close to the lift (10 minutes) walk. Breakfast was very tasteful and the free car park located 2 minutes away. Very nice staff, clean rooms equipped with the kettle. "

"Arrived at the Hotel and the staff could not be more feiendly and helpful. Absolutely beautiful property with a swiss feel. Room was great , indoor pool with Sauna and showers . Restaurant was amazing and probably our best meal in Switzerland. Perfectly located right at the beginning of all the restaurants and shops in Grindenwald. Walk out the door and two minutes you are in the heart of everything. Walked to Grindenwald First as well.
Would highly recommend and absolutely stay there...

Good variety of foods at breakfast. Very slow toaster that only takes 2 slices at a time leaves guests waiting around. Serving spoons/tongs were being mixed up for eggs, potatoes and sausages and meats were touching cheeses which is off putting if you are vegan/vegetarian/religious diet. No water cooler in the communal lounge space seems very mean considering in the rooms guests are encouraged to...
"Super nice stay. The hotel is original a Schweiz House, however inside the room everything is updated for your comforty. Nice and very friendly couple who had the hotel. We had to leave before breakfast opened, and they prepared some sandwiches for us to bring along. The hotel is away from the most crowded street with tourists and therefore quiet as we like it. Beautiful surroundings and view from the room and balcony. "
