Quiet, cozy room & great batroom. Lovely, older decor. Staff was friendly. Bluebird Guesthouse was a real lifesaver during a difficult time in Portland. "

"This was a very nice hostel and I felt very safe. I stayed in 4 person bunk room with all women and it was very nice! The doors can only be opened with a keycard for that room. The sheets and bed were very clean and comfortable. I slept in the bottom bunk that had a little curtain which made me feel like I had my own little space. The bathroom was down the hall and was very clean. "

"Honestly, the staff cannot have been any nicer. Friendly from the moment I walk through the door. I thought the hotel was in a really great location. It was very easy to get to via the train from the airport which I would highly recommend. I will definitely go back to this hotel if I'm ever in Portland, Oregon again."

"Eastside lodge is just a 15 minute walk from down town Portland. The area seems fairly safe, although if on foot you will encounter a homeless person.
There are lots of cool little bars and eating spots around you don't need to go down town for that.
Room was clean. Had a shower rather than a bath tub, which I appreciate. The bed was very squeaky. There was a fridge and microwave. All in all decent experience."
