"King size bed was comfy. Location is right beside Chinatown, which has so many hidden gems for food and shopping. Walking to downtown core was easy and +15walkways made it easy to explore various buildings, art and staying dry when it rained. River Walk is two blocks away. Lovely river views. Pool and hot tub well maintained, with saunas in the change rooms. Staff were all exceptional."

"Great location, very clean property but the area in the immediate vicinity was a little sketchy. I never felt unsafe, but there were a lot of transients in the park and around the train station. Sad, but true. Would I return? Absolutely, and probably will at the end of next week."

"I was quite impressed with the Calgary Marriot Downtown Hotel.
Getting to the hotel was quite easy. I used the valet parking, this was very convenient.
Once in the hotel the staff at the reception desk were fantastic. They were very helpful when we needed extra blankets and a microwave. The service was spot on. We requested an extra blanket and a microwave at the reception, by the time we got to our room both items were there.
There is a Milstones restaurant on site as well as a Starbucks. ...
