This sunny, second-floor sanctuary includes a large furnished mezzanine that can be accessed from the primary bedroom, as well as from the common living area. An oversized hammock with room for two awaits a good book and an afternoon nap. With table seating for 6, enjoy the ever-changing sunset over the jungle as you dine on a home-cooked meal.

The kitchen has been thoughtfully equipped with utensils and dishes, food storage containers, and more– it's complete with a dishwasher & a reverse osmosis water spout for worry-free drinking water for the duration of your stay. A coffee bar by day/cocktail bar by night is well stocked with coffee beans, grinder, & coffee maker– bring out the cocktail tools (margarita, anyone?!) or wine glasses to cheers the special moments. Plastic glasses are also provided for a safe pool or beachside option.

The center island offers three dining spots & enough counter space to prepare guacamole made from the largest, most fresh avocado you could imagine. The cozy living room invites you to wind down from a sun-soaked day on a comfortable sofa, with a large smart TV to stream your favorite show or movie.

Each of our bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen) is designed with your comfort in mind, featuring comfortable mattresses, luxury linens, blackout curtains, and plenty of hanging and drawer storage for all of your belongings. Unpack and make yourself at home in one of our luxurious bedrooms.

With high-speed wifi and 2 beautifully- backdropped designated work areas, our villa is the ideal work spot for a work-ation getaway or the roaming digital nomad. The unspoiled beach town of Akumal is a true gem of the Riviera Maya-- its protected beaches are home to a turtle sanctuary, offering some of the best snorkeling opportunities in the world to see these majestic animals. Join us May through October for turtle hatching season– this is when you are most likely to see them near the beach!

Nestled quietly between Tulum and Playa Del Carmen, you have access to all the unique culture the Riviera Maya has to offer. Take the 20 minute drive to Tulum to enjoy immaculate boho vibes, or if you are feeling like a night out dancing, opt for the 30 minute drive to Playa Del Carmen! Both locations also have well-stocked grocery stores for all your necessities.

If you are looking for adventure, the Riviera Maya offers a variety of activities. Take a dip in one of the many natural cenotes, explore ancient ruins, or book a tour with one of the many local companies to experience all the area has to offer. Golf enthusiasts will be happy to know there are several public courses nearby, so pack your clubs and hit the fairway whenever the mood strikes you.

it's very quiet, SECURE and peaceful here. we are off the highway, towards the beach. a car is best here, but it can be done with taxis and the collectivo. a 5 minute drive (20 minute walk) and you have dive shops and snorkeling areas, a lot of people watching and a couple restaurants & bars. there are also quite a few cenotes within a 10 minute drive. Santamar is staffed by security guards, 24/7. it feels very safe here. after a nice day out exploring, relax on our mezzanine and enjoy the panoramic views of the jungle and the sunset.

we have parking, it is a quiet cul de sac, easy to get here from the cancun airport in a rental car or a shuttle can get you here! Rental cars are awesome, and driving is actually pretty fun in Mexico! you can get by without a car, but there is much more to do if you have one.

Upon booking, you will be asked to send a unique 4-8 digit door code that we can program for the duration of your stay.
