For travelers who are religious Jews: the place is pretty Shabbat-worthy--hard key on a carabiener, but be sure to set the clock on the microwave before Shabbat b/c otherwise no clocks in the room. Also no challah to be had in the Old City where this is though I assume in the new city (a drive or cab ride away) you could get it."

"Oh boy, what to say? The owner is very, very nice, and the place is right at the seafront, close to nice restaurants and the main sights in the city (it's a tiny city, though). However, it was very difficult to find, since it doesn't have a sign (is it a legal hospitality accommodation?), the public spaces are filthy and the private rooms, though reasonably clean, worn and in desperate need of renovation. For the adventurous traveller only. "

My only minor complaint was that I found it impossible to turn off the air conditioning at night - I don't like to sleep with AC. My solution was to pull out the room card from the power control and turn off the electricity for the room, but that meant we couldn't charge our phones. "Anhand der Adresse gut zu finden. Allerdings kein Schild oder Hinweis am Haus mit der Bezeichnung Guest house Orlihome oder wo und wie man sich bemerkbar machen soll. Offensichtlich handelt es sich um Apartments in einem Mietshaus. Wir mussten anrufen. Der Vermieter kam dann binnen weniger Minuten. Ein Hinweis in der Buchung, dass man anrufen muss, wäre gut. Zimmer mit kleiner Küche und Bad war an sich ok. Preis war aber schon recht ordentlich. Leider haben wir abends in der Küche Kakerlaken...

"This is a 2 bedroom apartment. 1 full bath. It was decent shape but sparce. Several issues that should not have happened. There were no tissues, napkins, paper towels. The shiwere was tine, 32x32 and the floor was very slippery, to a fault. There was only 1 hand towel (4 people). When we walked in it smelled from smoke even tho it was a no smoking property. The view was great, right on the beach. Disappointed it didnt have some things we normally find in other properties we stay at."
