Thank you for a wonderful stay! We booked last minute and they were able to have our room ready in time. The roof offers a brief view of the Taj when fog and pollution is low. Our car was safe and we felt like a valued guest.

3 Star Hotel, 5 Star Service

The room was modest but clean with a huge Air Conditioner that cooled the room to 16 Degrees C in about 2 minutes. There is free Wifi available with decent connectivity from each floor and the rooftop restaurant. There are probably better places to eat than the rooftop restaurant but for two hungry travellers fresh off the train it was more than enough and the view is really stunning from up there at night. The owner/manager is exceptionally friendly, speaks English very well (I think I also heard him talking a little Spanish with another guest?), and was always available to help. Probably the best value accomodation we've had in India.

Very dirty, poperty not as described in listing

The hotel and room were not as described in the listing. There was no refrigerator and no shared kitchen. The first room we were given had no hot water in the shower. It was not private or secure because there was a door in the wall leading to the neighbor's room that could not be locked. The air conditioner was loud and made the bed vibrate. The room was infested with mosquitoes. The second room was slightly better but still had mosquitos and was dirty. The hotel did not enforce quiet hours and guests were banging doors and shouting outside our room at 11 pm and 4 am. We tried to leave after one night but the hotel management refused to refund the rest of our nights. The breakfast has to be requested every morning and you have to wait a long time for it to be cooked. The dining area is covered in dirt, trash and dust. We had to request hot water and pressure to be turned on every time we showered. There was always trash lying around in the hallways. The rooms are so small you can almost touch both walls when stretching from hand to foot. Smoke from burning outside drifts in from the cracks under the doors, filling the room. This was not a comfortable nor enjoyable stay.

Lovely and pleasant homestay

We have only good to say about pyrenees homestay. If you are looking for a place to stay in Agra, this is the place. The food on the rooftop restaurant is delicious and its a wonder how they always are ready to cook for you. The owner of pyrenees is a welcoming, heartwarm and lovely person, and have helped us with everything from train tickets to serving a good chai. The mastercook, Harry the autorickshaw driver, Kamal the owner and the rest of the staff gave us such a pleasant stay, that we are sure this is NOT the last time we visit pyrenees homestay. If you book here, you Will be only a Walk from Taj mahal and its easy to make the great building a visit in the morningtime by sunrise. The area is Nice and quiet, and this is a wonderful place to relax, drawback and have a good time before entring the sometimes busy Streets of india. You will not get a luxury hotel, but you will get much more than you actually pay for. Only love to the People in pyrenees.

Limpieza y no está muy lejos del TAJ Mahal. Precio económico y por tal, quisimos hacerle algún consumo y decidimos cenar allí un día : MUY SABROSO Y EXCELENTE ATENCIÓN 👍👏👏 ahora si, ración muy pequeña, por no decir diminuta, y el doble de caro que en los restaurantes que están cerca del TAJ Mahal. AL MARGEN DE ESO, LO RECOMENDARÍA AL HOTEL. P/D: Ojo 👀 con los monos de la zona, si te pueden pillar alguna fruta: van a por ti 😅

Avis mitigé

Nous ne cherchons pas le luxe, sinon on irait dans une autre sorte d'établissement. Nous cherchons de draps propres, salle de bains correcte et clim silencieuse. Nos draps étaient vieux et pas très nets, le ballon d'eau chaude (pas besoin ici) fuillait sur le wc, mini rouleau de pq et clim assez brillante, nous avons dû l'éteindre pour pouvoir dormir, mais bonjour la chaleur. Sinon personnel gentil, rien à dire.

Приятный недорогой отель, в пешей доступности от Тадж-Махала. Единственный минус - не ловил вай-фай в номере.

Good value

The room was clean and comfy, and the wifi works well. They were very kind to let me check in early. However, I went to the rooftop restaurant, and they said they would make me a simosa the next day to get me to come back. I went there to eat and I caught them bringing one in from outside the hotel. I'm not so much upset that they did it, it was just annoying that they would lie about something like that.

Nothing to write home about...

The room was awful, it smelled urin, excrements, cigrette smoke and "non-fresh air". The service was poor, you had to remind them about everything at least 3 times.. And our breakfast was nothing to write home about..

Unbelievable Filth

I’m unsure where all the clean and lovely reviews came from! The room had a door that could only be kept closed with a bolt and locked with a padlock. The room was dirty, bed sheets filthy and the towel looked like it had be dragged through the street! There was a cupboard door that led to a room with a grated hole in it! The bathroom was disgusting with little lightling and the window let in little light and was covered with bars. There wasn’t a restaurant as detailed in the description. We didn’t even stay for an hour, we left for new accommodation

The hotel was booked for our driver. It was fully paid and they ask for money. Breakfast was included but not provided. Due to renovation paint smell was terrible

A good hostel at a good price !

One of my better experiences in India, a very cheap room with good, cheap food (and beer) and a good rooftop hangout/restaurant where you can chat with other travellers. Dont expect Hilton luxury, but for the price is superb ! What makes it special is the attentiveness of the owner, the chef and the in-house tuktuk driver. Solutions to travel problems can be found by the owner, who speaks good english, and is western minded. The hostel is located in a gated community, 15 mins from the train station. Expect to be surrounded at the train station, and offers made by taxi drivers for tours etc. Ignore all of these offers, and speak with the owner for the best advice. ( Less stressful) Rooms are a bed and a small bathroom, with a overhead fan; basic, but functional.

Great location for Taj Mahal or the fort. Quiet place with a lot of restaurants 5 minutes walk. Good staff too. Negative side: only bucket shower and a crappy and tiny bath. Besides that, recommendable.

静かな街の素敵な宿

とてもいいホテルでした。オーナーは親切だし、安いし、最高でした。ベッドも広かったです！絶対に日本人は泊まるべき！ 日本人男二人の旅でしたが、デリーで悪徳業者に捕まって、困っていたところ、オーナーさんに電車のチケット手配を助けてもらいました。 ジャイプールから2nd sittingで5時間、へとへとになりながら24:00くらいのチェックインでしたが、嫌な顔もせず、しかも軽食までご馳走していただきました。きっと気を使ってくれたのだと思います。 次アグラに来たときも必ず来ます！
