Private beach, swimming pool, comfortable bed and so private, we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves.
Highly recommend for couples or people like us who have spent weeks at sea and instead of staying overnight in Papeete on our Cruise Ship opted to rent a car and see the the real Tahiti. Loved it. "

"I spent 8 nights at Punatea Village and I greatly enjoyed my stay. The owner was very kind and accommodating. He upgraded me to a bungalow for 6 of my 8 nights at no extra cost. The kitchen is very clean and comes with all the utensils you need for cooking. It has a communal refrigerator. The lounge eating area is covered. The grounds is well maintained , with numerous beautiful tropical plants and trees. There is a nice swimming area which is protected from the surf by a wall of boulders....

"We loved our stay at Vanira Lodge. The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. We were in Vai Ora and the views were stunning. We especially enjoyed the hot tub on our terrace and having AC in the bedroom. The only thing that might be an issue for some people are the lizards and small worms that share the space. The lizards were on the terrace, but the little worms were in the bedroom. The property lets you know in advance and it didn't bother us, but it's good to be aware before you...
