✪ What to Expect:
Extremely tranquil, off-the-grid, rustic frontier accommodation. This is about the simplicity of an austere, no-frills, rugged cabin and getting away from the world into nature. There is no Wi-Fi or television, just the sound of birds, ducks and wildlife and a stillness you won`t find in the city. Everything is aged and well used, and that is the charm.
Step onto the timber decking and you`ll find benches, hanging mood lighting, an open-air hot-water bath and an open-air shower with views across the foothills of Adelaide all the way to the ocean. A fire pit surrounded by chopped tree-trunk seats, a Weber Q BBQ, a glass dining table, a heavy cast-iron table in front of the brick pizza oven and a worn three-seater leather couch make the outdoor space the heart of the stay. There are also bocce balls for the front lawn.
Inside, the open-plan cabin is lined in timber, with a queen bed on a marine-ply frame in front of a large window (roll the blind up to wake to the view), a Persian rug, a two-seater couch, a rustic dining table for four and a kitchen bench with sink, hot and cold water, bar fridge and all the cooking basics. A large glass sliding door and windows along the front keep the view with you inside.
