Family fun

We were in town for a family wedding and wanted a house big enough to sleep 8 adults. This house was amazing- not only was it big enough for all of us, there was a beautiful pool and hot tub, plus a game room with a pool table. The house was so fabulous that other family members showed up to the hot the pool and grounds. There was a gas grill that we enjoyed on our first night l, and everything was available and beautifulWe had such a great time together that we’ve decided to take yearly trips together as a family.

Beautiful, rustic getaway

The "log palace" is a wonderful find. The heated pool and hot tub are right on the main deck, and were both great -the kids swam multiple times a day (the rain didn't deter). Lots of bedrooms, all clean and comfortable. One of the best-provisioned kitchens I've found at a rental. Accord is lovely, though small - plenty of farm-to-table style places in the area, lovely hiking.

We had our mini family reunion; our 2 daughters, son-in-law and 4 grandkids. We thought the layout of the rooms was great with wings for each family and the the common areas were spacious. The kitchen had all kinds of amenities. We had arranged for a chef to come in for a special meal and he liked the kitchen too. The pool and hot tub were good. The deck around the pool needs work though. The towns around the area have lots to offer too. We enjoyed kayaking, hiking and exploring the different towns.

Amazing, special house

This is such a fun house to stay in, and perfectly set up for multiple families with kids. Between the pool, hot tub, outdoor playset, and all the fun nooks and crannies of the house, you could easily have fun without even leaving the house for a weekend. Anthony was responsive and helpful, and he and his family clearly put lots of love and care into this home. The wooded outdoor setting is private and peaceful.

It's a great house and a great host!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this house! The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The common areas are spacious and beautifully designed, perfect for spending time together and making wonderful memories. The pool area is a true highlight—sparkling clean and the perfect spot to relax and unwind.What really set this stay apart was the host. They were incredibly attentive and always available to answer any questions or address any needs we had. Their dedication to ensuring we had a great stay was evident in every detail.Overall, this was one of the best rental experiences we’ve ever had, and we can’t wait to come back!

A Home Away From Home

Well apportioned, uniquely designed, log cabin home with modern amenities to many to list in this review. Anthony was communicative and accommodated our family of 15. Enjoyed a hike to Awosting Lake and returned to this home to grill, sit pool side and relax. Highly recommend this property. Ah, the basement holds many surprises!!!! What Happens In The Cabin Stays in The Cabin.

Everything was lovely. Great host and beautiful well kept property. Unfortunately i made the mistake to leave the cleanup to a friend who didnt do what he was supposed to do. I publicly apologize to our host who didn't deserve to come back to the house with the garbage bags left the way they were among other issues.This host will go above and beyond to make your stay feel like family and it should have been the same for us back to him. I apologize. You definitely run a lovely property and everyone would be lucky to rent from you.Bradley

A perfect long weekend just two hours from the city

This property is absolutely stunning. A huge cabin, equipped with all the modern amenities one would expect and a very large heated pool and deck. The pool was heated to a perfect temperature (often not the case!). The hot tub was piping and everything was in good working order. The communication from the owner was great, let us enter the property early on arrival day, suggested local hikes and restaurants to eat at. All the rooms are spacious and quiet. Everything needed for the stay was provided, propane for the grill, condiments, coffee, TP, trash bags, etc. The price point is at the higher end of the range, but we felt that we got what we paid for: absolute seclusion on many, many acres, close proximity to hiking in Minnewaska and Mohonk, and a weekend of grilling, swimming, talking and relaxing. Also, the house is large enough that if someone wants to nap while everyone else is swimming or on the deck they can sleep without being disturbed. Being in the woods, be sure to bring some bug spray. At the end of our stay the owner was very eager to hear feedback on how to improve the guest experience. We provided two suggestions to which the owner was immediately receptive, with one of the issues already in the process of being addressed. All in all, a fantastic stay. Attentive host, and a superb location to host a large group without feeling crowded but with enough communal space so that 12 adults can still be together for a meal (with a little creativity).

Perfect place for kids and a friend trip

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property and cannot recommend it highly enough, especially for families with young children and groups of friends. It is clear that the home was designed with incredible thoughtfulness and attention to detail.For families, this place is truly exceptional. It was fully stocked with toys, books, art supplies, and activities that kept the kids entertained for hours. Every bedroom was thoughtfully equipped with either a crib or toddler bed, along with potty-training items and white noise machines, which made bedtime routines seamless and stress-free. These small but meaningful touches made traveling with children so much easier and more enjoyable. There was even a dedicated small table for children, which made them feel included during meals and activities.At the same time, the home is perfect for larger groups of friends and adults. The entertainment options were outstanding — we loved spending evenings in the hot tub, and the game room was a huge hit with the pool table, air hockey, and arcade games. There was something for everyone to enjoy, and it created a fun, relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay.The large dining table was another highlight. It was perfect for gathering everyone together for meals, conversation, and shared moments. The layout of the home made it easy for both adults and children to have their own spaces while still feeling connected.Overall, this property exceeded our expectations in every way. It was comfortable, thoughtfully equipped, and ideal for both families with young children and larger groups. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, stress-free getaway.

Quick family trip for a special birthday

The five of us all flew in to New York for a wedding so we had an opportunity to spend the weekend together after the wedding. We were looking for something relaxing that had a pool, and beautiful scenery. I had other activities planned but they didn’t want to leave the house. We played a lot of pool, went into jacuzzi, etc. Definitely want to come back when I have grandkids…the house is very accommodating for small kids with a outdoor swing set, safety around pool, etc.
