There is a free wine tasting for their vineyard included and the proprietor did our tasting and it was incredible and he was very passionate about his craft and highly knowledgeable. This winery is respectful of nature and organic. If you have a car and are interested in Brunello you will not regret your stay. The breastfast is rather limited in options. Also visit the Abbey that is nearby which was uplifting and a living community. "

The building is obviously older, but very well maintained. VERY CLEAN and the bathrooms have obviously been updated in the not too distant past. Only complaint is that the WiFi speed is painfully slow and almost unusable. Very close to the bus stop and walking distance to everything the charming town has to offer....

"Vi havde 4 skønne dage i Citta della Pieve midt under den årlige middelalder festuge. Hotellet ligger tæt på alt og byen er virkelig hyggelig. Vi kan anbefale restauranten på hotellet samt restaurant El Mura, der ligger tæt på hotellet. Hotellet har en lille privat P-plads, men man skal aflevere sine bilnøgler i receptionen, så de kan flytte bilen efter behov. Værelset var rummeligt (deluxe room) og der var stille og roligt på 2. sal hvor vi boede. Poolen og haven er meget lille, men ok."

We stayed in the annex on the third floor with a large balcony with views over the old city and the surrounding landscape. Several nice restaurents in the old city within easy walking distance.
