"Nice room and bathroom with a good selection of tea and coffee in the room. The Bathroom is separated by the room with a glass wall so only share a room with people you're very comfortable with.. There was a "privacy button" that was supposed to make the door non-transparent, but I couldn't work out"

"First time here, but not the last one. Very cosy and local hotel in the very best location next to the Cathedral and in December; the Christmas Market. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast quite expensive, so go look for this in the city which is just outside the front door."

"Great one night stay on the way to Southampton prior to a cruise. This Place has the Wow factor in spades. The main building houses a comfortable bar and delightful multi roomed restaurant in an elegant 18th centuary manor house painstakinly moved brick by brick to it's current location."

"10/10 experience! For the price we paid this hotel was absolutely brilliant!! The grounds are beautiful and the onsite Indian restaurant was fantastic. The staff at the restaurant in both the evening and at breakfast was superb! Breakfast was plentiful and hot! The room was idea for what we needed. Would recommend "

"This hotel is at best 3 stars. Interior a little old and worn, but ok. Wi-Fi is appalingly slow, could not be used for online work, or even to simply check the news. That alone should make you choose another hotel. Bed was uncomfortable. Staff was helpful, but many spoke poor english... For the price you pay you dont get 4 star service, location or facilities. Not worth the expence."

"The place was in an overall, very bad condition. No cleaning was done, for the 3 days, that our stay lasted. Besides from that, the place was worn down. Thes staff in the bar and at the breakfast buffet, seamed confused and didn't care about the guests."
