"We had an amazing time with family. The property is about 20 to 30 minutes south of town so not a far drive, which you will have to do if you dont bring food. It is a very private resort with a private beach. You will also have a "pass" or access to the grand mayan resort which is about a 10 min drive where they have a lazy river and restaurants (i dont recommend restaurants there however lol food was bad). "We never got to stay in Rocky Point suites 2 we somehow got put in suites 1 which were very disappointing. I choose suite 2 due to reviews on #1 and the pictures. The only good I can say was the bed was comfortable and the location is amazing. But we had a sewage leak that dropped on me in the kitchen from the master bath above and the furniture and kitchen items are very low quality, the foyer and utility room smelled of gas, the fridge was from a low end trailer home, the grill was trashed...

"It was a great place to stay. A little outdated but big and spacious. It only had a salt Shaker that was empty. Could use some salt and pepper and some spices. The shower pressure in the queen room facing the ocean was terrible. They other rooms they complained the beds were hard. But over all we had a great time. "

"My husband and I stayed here for a last minute trip, and it was amazing. I was worried about the reviews, but it looks like the management company has since changed or improved on the issues.
