"Property is more of an Airbnb. It was located in a lush tropical property and check in was a key left in the units door. Good location for visiting Volcanoes park. Good place if you’re mode of travel is simple with minimal amenities. Owners made the stay comfortable. Unfortunately not many restaurants were open on our Monday visit. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy. "The accommodations were terrific, a great value in superb location for visiting Volcanoes National Park and Hilo area. Spacious, comfortable beds. Host was very accommodating by offering to deliver to-go breakfasts as we had an early morning flight. I recommend the Lanikai Brewing Co for dinner if you stay here- the best food we ate in Hawaii for adults and kids- also great beer and excellent cocktail lists with low-key come as you are feel (i.e. sweatpants)."

"No frills bed and breakfast. This is the type of place that you book for serenity and for the quiet atmosphere which was perfect for our trip. It is worth noting that you need to make arrangements to get your access code ahead of time if you think you will have delays in your travel. However this process was easy to do. The property is close to volcano national park and also has an enjoyable rainforest environment as well. "

"The cottage was fantastic. Had all the amenities. It was in a quiet neighborhood, with a view of a golf course, but easy driving distance to the Volcanoes National Park and the town of Volcano. We were very busy seeing the various attractions of the island, such as waterfalls, the black sand beach and South Point, and hiking in the National Park. We wished we could have spent more time at the cottage. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. "

"Paradise in paradise! The property is like a small botanical garden. The plantings are beautifully maintained and are the colors of all the different leaves is amazing. Located on a quiet side road, the birds and frogs serenade you with their calls. "No parecía una casa funcional. La habitación de abajo queda muy separada y no tiene baño lo que la hace incómoda. Una sala con TV grande totalmente separada de la cocina comedor que no tiene tv. La casa es rara, muchos recovecos, grande pero no funcional. Provee solo 2 sillas para playa cuando éramos 5. Tampoco tiene bbq grill. Nos pareció cara por lo que realmente es."
