"My stay was for a couple of days to visit the castle and gardens, I’m a solo traveller. The staff were friendly and very helpful, my luggage was taken to my room while I was out owing to an early arrival, then I was shown to my room when I returned. The food was very good and hot when brought to the table, plus advice on wine selection, dietary requirement catered for. It was very hot during my stay and the air conditioning was great, bed was very comfortable. "

"Grand old building , room clean and tidy , excellent night’s sleep . Breakfast good loved the timed sit down . Significant problem in that to ensure right mix of tables, all through the meal tables were being dismantled rolled out to a storage room and others replaced and set . A bit like breakfast whilst refurbishment on going ."

"My partner & myself had a lovely 3 night stay at the Lindisfarne inn. Easy access from the A1 with comfortable rooms. The staff were all lovely & made you feel welcome nothing was ever too much, they all work really hard serving food to making drinks behind the bar & keeping the restaurant clean of pots & making customers feel welcome. "Wir waren nur eine Nacht (Zwischenübernachtung) da, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hatte eine heimelige Atmosphäre, der Ausblick auf Strand und Meer waren phantastisch. Auch das Frühstück war hervorragend. Insgesamt eine schöne Lage in Berwick upon Tweed. "

"We had a relaxing 3 night stay with Carolyn. Lovely bedroom with large en-suite bathroom in a peaceful, rural location. We enjoyed the breakfasts as well as Carolyn’s home cooked evening meals, both of which gave lots of choice. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you Carolyn 🙏"

"East House is a lovely old property. We had a large room with a great view across farm fields (there were cows!), and the sea, you could also see Dunstanburgh castle in the distance. The host was really welcoming and friendly. Despite what it says in the description the beds are fully made up and there is a good supply of towels in the bathroom so you don’t need to bring sheets etc. nice touches in the room included a kettle, coffee, fresh milk, cereals, biscuits, shampoo, hair conditioner,...
