“Le Grand Balcon Toulouse”

When the booking agent told us that this hotel is really good, I was a bit skeptical. But after staying in it, it is indeed excellent. You can call it a boutique hotel at reasonable price. I love the bathroom amenities, the breakfast ( which is more than continental), the decoration and the staff's readiness to help us: such as booking a rental car to pick up at the railroad station. She did such a superb job and went an extra mile to print the confirmation that was sent to the hotel for us. The room is decorated with very good taste. The expresso machine was good. If you like elegant contemporary style, you should choose this one. And our on-line booking really saves us money. Since it is at the center of the city, there is no parking. We did not drive the car to the hotel and relied on taxi or walking. But I know there is parking under the square.

Great chic hotel just off the Place du Capitole in central Toulouse. A few steps from the hotel is the large plaza which is surrounded by cafes, markets, shopping.

I only stayed a night as i was en route to a wedding jsut outside Toulouse i found the Grand balcon Comftable, Clean with a Great Location. English, Spanish and obvioulsy French were all spoken by various freindly and helpful staff. Right on the corner of the Capitoli Square with a host of Bistro/Bar/Restaurnt on the door step.

The hotel is right on the corner of the main square. We dont normally book near the centre as we worry about noise at night but the reviews we read made us choose the hotel despite this. We made the right choice! We asked for a quiet room and were given one in the centre of the hotel. It was fabulously quiet, the beds were very comfortable and the power shower was great. We didnt eat at the hotel as there are small corner shops close by where we bought fruit and bread for our breakfast and there are loads of places to eat out for lunch and evening meals close to the hotel. There is free WIFI in the hotel too, which is useful.

Grand Balcon is a designer hotel in the center of the tourist area in Toulouse One of the best staffs I have ever encountered. Would highly recommend this hotel
