"Aneka couldn’t be a better host. The loft had one bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen, which came with farm fresh eggs! The hens that laid them were right outside the window. We brought our pups who enjoyed the yard when the chickens were in their coop. The house is minutes away from the beach and redwoods. We very much enjoyed our stay, it was quite relaxing!"

"We stayed at this VRBO in 2022 and enjoyed it so much we had to come back! It is a great location to be near the ocean and take in all the beautiful sights around Mendocino. The Forest Suite is peaceful and relaxing... perfect for getting away from it all for a few days. We would venture out in the mornings to go on hikes or just do some sight seeing, and then come back to the suite to kick back and read a good book. Such a nice vacation! Highly recommended!"

We found this gem, the pics are nice, but the experience of driving up to the place was something you have to experience to fully understand how breath taking view Dan and Laura have. "My husband and I love staying here (our 2nd time). It's a beautifully decorated, clean and well-stocked property. It's in the best location, right in downtown Mendocino, with easy access to all the shops. The best part is the large, wraparound deck with views of the headlands and ocean. We spent most of our time on the deck. It's also easy to hike around and even go down to a small, but quiet beach. The owner is very accommodating and wants the guests to have fun. We'll definitely be back again,...

"Location is the highlight of this Gualala studio. The stairs faded quickly into the spectacular views. This is a special retreat from the ordinary. Miren is a fantastic host, her knowledge of the area, attention to detail & warm hospitality all a highlight of our stay. We spent 3 nights & explored nearby, but the Anchor Bay beach below this studio makes this location a place of pure contentment, no need to roam. We hope to return."

"This was a great spot to stay, especially during kinetics weekend. There is a lot to do around the condo and the parking is easy (easier than I thought based on the description). The space was great to relax and hang out and the beds were cozy. I did not have as much communication from the owner as I have had at other places. I was a little concerned about that but everything was great."
