"We love staying in this comfortable cottage. We come with our kayak group and many of them camp in Mckerricer and this cottage is almost inside the state park. Very close to the beach and a beautiful coastal bike trail. The home is clean and has everything you need for a great vacation stay. We've stayed here multiple times and will be coming back in the future."

"Love this place and would stay here again. Everything is renovated beautifully. We loved sipping coffee while watching the hummingbirds outside the window. The Murphy bed was comfortable as well as the main bed. We were incredibly bummed that the fog never lifted during our stay. The water is RIGHT THERE, but we never saw it. Location is great, close to ft Bragg and Mendocino. Of note, we felt weird taking a shower or washing dishes because it is plastered everywhere about how bad the drought...

"I’ve been coming to Mendocino for 25 years — sometimes with kids, sometimes with my spouse, and sometimes on my own. This is the nicest place I’ve stayed at. I initially booked it for myself, but then my husband decided to join me. I was worried from the pictures that it might be too cramped for 2 people, but that was not at all the case. There is a nice comfortable indoor sitting space for 2, in addition to the kitchen table/chairs. And of course the garden space is amazing. But even on a rainy...

"I’m sadly back to reality now after spending 4 nights in this beautiful space. We arrived after a long, chilly, rainy drive to a warm and welcoming home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring nearby redwood forests and beaches. We also loved simply hanging out at the cottage… so comfy inside and so peaceful outside. Nikki is a great host, responded right away with any questions we had. Will definitely return!!"

"Older court style separated rooms but very well maintained. Gas, grocery and dining just across the street. The landscaping was very pretty and we used the gazebo just outside the room to relax with a glass of wine after a busy travel day. "

"I have mostly good things to say, but the neighborhood was not great and no hot tub on property. Extremely clean, easy check in, very attentive owners. A local young man greeted us shortly after arrival, nice touch. We thought we left something behind and owners responded immediately. The inside is as described. Upstairs has very low ceilings. We had 3 adults and the owner reached out to us right away to make sure we were ok with that. However, the neighborhood is not great. Its in a rundown...

"What a gem! We loved our stay at Mendo Bungalow. It’s charming, quiet, super clean & comfortable. The managers go the extra mile to make guests comfortable. Chairs on the lawn with a fantastic view, s’mores kits, water bottles in the room. Every thoughtful detail—so nice to settle in for the night in a place like this. Also very close to Mendocino—4 minute drive to restaurants, stores, coastal walks, etc. "
