"We very much enjoyed our stay at Xanadu Island resort. The hotel is hidden in a lush setting. The bedrooms are comfortable although they are not as roomy as they look on the pictures. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There are golf carts for rent and bikes are complimentary, as well as kayaks. The pool is very pleasant and quiet. "This place is not as advertised. Terrible wifi. Dilapidated exterior and surroundings. No beach access! Mosquito infestation m. I checked out the very next day and would have nit even stayed that night but was stranded. It’s a deserted island. Period! Don’t stay here!!!!!’nnnn"

"Our family stayed here and had a wonderful time. It's just as described, and Aileen, Randy, and their staff were all very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. Our 4yo especially enjoyed spending lots of time in the pool! (Incidentally, we loved being able to enjoy the rooftop space, along with 2 patios off of our condo.) The property is very clean, well taken care of, and a wonderful place to stay while you explore the island. We also felt secure and appreciated being able to rent a cart from them...

"Had a last minute trip and found the Easy inn to have space. Not much to look at from outside, but drive into the secure parking lot and things get much better. The staff was friendly, efficient and pointed us in right direction for food. Room are just what one needs, while not pillow topped, my mattress was perfect. AC cranked and the shower was just what was needed after traveling. nosure what else is needed."

"Our room was beautiful and Stephen was helpful. He had breakfast for us each morning. This is a nice place to go if you like a secluded vacation. We felt it was a bit secluded though. Nothing really in the surrounding area for hours by boat or car. The beach at the resort is nice and does have kayaks to borrow. There is one rustic beachfront bar/ restaurant. Not fancy, but will fulfill your needs. We were a little disappointed with all the dogs, lack of fresh drinking water and rule to not use...

Paulina our housekeeper did an excellent job in maintaining the order and cleanness of our room. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. Later in the day, Colin came by to check if I needed anything. Since the nearby restaurants were closed, he personally made the drive to pick up food and deliver it to us.
