I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were. This is an old hotel but the rooms have been beautifully updated. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only thing I can say anything negative about is the shower head. It sprayed a fine mist. Although it felt nice, you can’t wash the soap out of your hair properly. Overall, it was a nice stay and I would definitely recommend it to others.

For an older motel it is in stages of remodeling and they are doing an excellent job! My room was very clean and fresh smelling. My room was in the rear section of the motel and it was very quiet. They have parking available for semis (which I was in) and RV’s with cameras watching that area. Pets are also allowed to stay, which is nice too!

Before choosing accommodations for the night, I read reviews across Whitecourt. I noted that though the price was exceptional, the reviews were about comfort, cleanliness, kindness and more. Everything went above and beyond so much that price became only a bonus to the stay. I can say with certainty that I not only would stay here again and recommend it but would forecast this location to be a brand new adventure within the next decade as they slowly renovate mechanically and esthetically over the years, starting in blocks of rooms and eventually in time the entire facility. The service was incredibly kind and accommodating, making one feel they were genuinely pleased to see me, have my business and able to do whatever I might need over and above to ensure my stay was prime. When I arrived at the room, I was so pleased with thr cleanliness, design and more. I'll try to post pictures. The bed suited my comfort levels perfectly. Breakfast (can you believe this price also included breakfast?) had an assortment of breads, fruits, yogurt, cereal, porridge, bacon, sausage, pancakes, coffee, milk, juices, condiments and more. Very good, very hot and a well spread, comfortable, clean dining room with outside entrance. Check in and check out was easy and kind. Please don't hesitate to give this old location a chance. You'll be incredibly pleased and surprised.

Staff was excellent!! My only real complaint was the mattress was too hard. I was in pain. The new Reno’s are great. Very fresh. I suggest hairdryer’s in the rooms though. Special thanks to the cook. Great breakfast.

Room advertised was the renovated one. The room we were given was OLD. Huge spider in the tub, 3” gap under the door. Dirty furniture. We turned right around and left. Very disappointed and a total waste of money.

It was a really nice hotel. Very clean room. Just one thing that I really didnt like was breakfest only went until 830. So if u sleep a little too long then u wont be able to get any breakfest. But other wise would definitely recommend this hotel.

Staff were exceptionally friendly, check in, check out and breakfast. Very good value for the money, room was clean and recently updated. Love that when you turn on a light, you have a nice bright room! Only 2 things that kept us from rating it 5 stars on everything, room was too warm, and 3 of the pillows too thick, the only thin one was lumpy. Breakfast was much better than the continental we were expecting.

I found beds very firm. Pillows are terrible. Lumpy and overstuffed. Couldn't cool the room off either. Adjusted dial on rad with no difference in temperature for a 2 night stay. I was impressed with included breakfast and the room they hold it in. More than enough food.

Everything We Needed!
We were upgraded to one of their renovated suites. It was great. Beds were comfortable. We stayed with our dog and it worked well with her. We asked for a quiet room and it was just that, quiet! Breakfast was good. It was cold in the breakfast room, but that might have been due to the extreme cold outside. Definitely good quality for a very reasonable price!

We arrived around 11pm and was greeted with a smile and efficient host who got us checked in quickly so we could get settled in. This is an older hotel which has been recently updated. Comfortable beds.

This place is a hidden gem. Had it not been for the reviews recommending it, I may have passed it over based on the appearance of the outside of the motel. It would have been a mistake. Our room was super clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room had the coolest retro fridge inside! The kitchen area was very well stocked with anything you could need to cook in your room if you wanted to. The breakfast room is absolutely beautiful! It was decorated so nicely and had a very warm and cozy feel. The food was incredible and there were plenty of options. I've been to fancy hotels that don't offer this kind of selection. Please give this place a try if you are staying in Whitecourt. I will definitely be staying here again when in the area. Well done Cloud 9 Inn :)

Building exterior is misleading. The property looks old & run down. The rooms are renovated and sparking clean. Staff are hard-working and pleasant. Beds were comfy and the hotel was quiet. We really enjoyed our stay at this property and I will book here again.
