Delightful little place
The place was really very lovely. It has great wood floors and an amazing mud room. The kids loved playing in the room and treated it like their own private club house despite the chill in the air outside. Our main reason for visiting was stargazing and while the first night was slightly hazy we still got some great stars even saw a few shooting stars. The second night it poured nothing to be done about it but we still enjoyed each other's company. For those worried about cell service we have at&t and service was fine, we also had no trouble using our t-mobile hot spot to get wi-fi the house itself has no wi-fi or tv but we didn't miss the tv at all.

Amazing stay!
The property was immaculate. The only thing we missed on the listing was there is no TV. Everyone was fine but my 9 year old had to get use to it. Lol. It was very peaceful and quiet. Nice get away.

What I Needed
I needed a ace near my daughter's home where a number of us could stay. The space was big The master bedroom was at one end and the other beds at the other. Worked well. It is not glamorous or anything. But it does it's job well.

Nice secluded place!
We stayed for a wedding in Ulysses, PA and it was a great location! Only 15 minutes to a store and they had everything we forgot inside the house. Was interesting as people with Verizon had service and AT&T didn’t so keep that in mind! Communication was super easy and the owners were super considerate of us. Lots of parking space and the nature was beautiful.

What a delightful place to stay! Quiet and peaceful!
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had numerous family members and enough space in the yard to play ball and frisbee with peace and quiet. Amazingly clean and well kept. Wonderful communication with our host made our long weekend exceptionally easy and will definitely book again next year.

The trailer was big enough for family of 4 and for sure can fit 10 people as listed above. We enjoyed the view and inside was really clean and had everything what you would need for your stay. For us it was very comfortable to live in.

Perfect Place To Stay
My family and I were in the area to visit Cherry Springs State Park. We loved everything about the house and its location including the property location (we had the best view for star gazing, lots of nature, and peace and quiet). if your looking for a great place to stay THIS IS IT!

Perfect quiet getaway
It was a lovely weekend. We spent the entire stay in and around the house. The house itself is as advertised. Clean, neat and equipped with all essentials. At night the stars are out in full glory. We saw the milky way, the constellation scorpio, the big dipper and many more! A very enjoyable, quiet and soothing getaway.

Perfect trout getaway
Prepare to enjoy the hospitality of the Owners - its in the little things - coffee and sugar ready to go for the morning lift before you head out on the trails or head out on the accessible waters of the Genesee. Or laundry detergent, plenty of utensils for any type of dinner cooking. Highly recommend!. It is our 4th stay and we will be back.

Tranquil lovation
This location had a very nice homey feel, was very clean, had enough sleeping beds for 8. Location was excellent for star gazing and just getting away into nature. Enjoyed walking along the WAG trails.

Relaxing
This weekend getaway was just perfect. The home was so cozy & inviting, had everything we needed and we went at just the right time ( peak foliage). The area is great for walking, biking, exploring & even napping. Owner was very thorough and accommodating. Our only issue has to do with nature and not the facility- due to a water shortage we didn’t shower and were very concerned about our water usage as the well water reservoir was low upon arrival. Anyone looking to unplug, stargaze and reconnect with family- this is the place.

Unfortunately the water table in the area is extremely low. There is enough water in the well reservoir to shower however running a full bath is not an option right now. Praying for a soaking rain!

Beautiful getaway
We traveled here from Lancaster County about 4 1/2- 5 hours away. We needed a place to stay for the weekend for our cousins wedding and this was absolutely perfect! Everyone felt ‘at home’ here and having no TV at all was a very nice respite from everything going on with our lives- it allowed us to talk more and have a better experience enjoying each other’s company without having anyone glued to the TV. We had 9 people in our group and everyone was comfortable- no overcrowding other than sometimes having to wait for the bathroom because they were both occupied. Lol We didn’t get to explore much since we were only there over the weekend. The fire pit was very nice to sit around and wind down after a busy day. My son even brought his guitar and played a little for us. I am hoping to get to visit our family in the area more often and will definitely keep this place in mind for any future stays. We had no problems or issues of any kind and Elisa was extremely helpful with responding to my questions very quickly. Definitely recommend staying here if you like nature and God’s creation. Beautiful area.

Lovely oasis
From the moment I saw the pictures I knew that the Guest House at Double E Ranch would be the best spot to take my family for some much needed "away time." The house and yards are well maintained, the bedding is soft, there are ample towels and I personally loved the pillows and the extra soft blankets. My children had a blast playing with the toys provided and even tried their hand at coloring in the coloring books. The kitchen had almost everything we needed including some grill utensils. We enjoyed the firepit and made s'mores, flew kites and threw frisbees. I only wish it were closer to home ( it was 5.5 hours away for us) and if there was a tea kettle for the non-coffee drinkers. Elisa was great about answering my pre-arrival questions and even told me about a local pizza shop. She was also very communicative during our stay. I would recommend buying groceries prior to your arrival and taking advantage of the WAG trail.

Nice respite from everything
This was our fourth stargazing excursion to the area -- but first to cross the PA border into NY. The property appeared as advertised and was as comfortable as two room AC units and several fans could make it in mid-August. We had crystal clear nights with which to view the many visible stars, and even caught a bit of the Perseid meteor shower at its peak. The kitchen, pantry, and linen closets were well stocked. All we needed to provide was our own food. Of note, there is only one five-cup coffeemaker. Be prepared to make multiple pots. The beds were comfortable, however, and the quiet unbeatable. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Excellent place
We had a great experience with this stay. The property is clean and maintained pretty well. The surroundings are serene. This will be the first place we will prefer to stay if we visit this area again.

Relaxing
It is nice and quiet , the view is beautiful. The house is nice and clean exactly as we saw on the site . Very convenient 👌 it has all the basics save and peaceful.....we enjoyed watching deers , walking and biking..

Pictures don't do it justice.
With the current state of the world, a few friends and I desperately needed to get away to disconnect and reconnect with each other. Double E Ranch was perfect for this adventure. The pictures truly do no do it justice. The yard has a ton of space! Surrounded by corn fields and woods, you feel like you are removed the big world problems and immediately feel peacefully at one with Mother Nature. The house itself has so many details covered to assure we had a great trip. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools we needed to prepare meals, beds were comfortable and clean, the couches were incredibly comfortable, and there were even toiletries and family games in case we needed them! Directly across the street there was easy access to the WAG trail and the river. It was excellent casual bike ride through the well maintained trail. I had one issue during my stay and Elisa was amazingly responsive and compassionate. She made the whole trip easy and always quick to respond to questions or concerns. I highly recommend this location!

Ahhh..... Peace..... what a wonderful feeling.... Please use public access to enjoy the WAG trail and Genesee River. The path across the road is private property (not part of Double E Ranch). There is a map of the nearest access points on the desk when you arrive. Definitely check it out if you get a chance! Hoping you all made a few good memories this trip. Come back again

Charming & Idyllic setting with homely comfort...
This was a thoroughly memorable experience for the six of us who stayed here for the 4th of July weekend and truth be told, the images in the property listing doesn't do justice to the wonderfully serene and picturesque environment of this ranch. The house was super clean and everything else was thoughtfully and adequately provisioned and people can stay days & weeks here by bringing minimum baggage with them. The town is nearby and everything we needed could be easily procured (Elisa's tips on getting stuff was really accurate and helpful). Plenty of natural beauty and things to do nearby; we enjoyed the WAG trail very much - fishing/kayaking will be an added attraction - we also saw some wildlife just from the backyard. I would believe that there would be nice starry skies here - but unfortunately we couldn't experience it due to full moon setting in our days of visit. Definitely would like to visit and have a longer stay here again... Thanks to the hosts for giving us the opportunity of this beautiful place and experience!!

Thoughtful touches - coffee, new linens, spices and the like. Access to the Genesee for incredible trout fly fishing is 5 minutes away. We biked on the WAG, heron wading the river. Great home in a great location.

Perfect getaway, still close to town
Elisa was very good with communicating before our arrival. The passcode gave us quick access to the home, which was right next to a small farm with corn growing. Despite no a/c, the house was nice and cool on 80+ degree days. There are fans provided, which we used overnight. The kitchen had everything we needed, although a set or two of child friendly dishes/cups would have been appreciated. Our daughter loved the toys and the bunkbed. The bed in the master was comfortable. We enjoyed looking at stars on a clear night(bring a telescop!) and watching wildlife(gophers, chipmunk and deer) while eating. We will definitely look for availability on our ne t trip to Wellsville!

Ideal access to Genesee River and WAG Trail
A++++ rating. Beautiful accommodations with a new furnishings, 2 baths with plenty of hot water. After a long day fly fishing, which can be done with a 5 minute walk, the mud room is perfect for drying everything out. My friends and I have fished the Genesee for years - this is by far the neatest, most accommodating stay we have ever had. We will be back.

Quiet Getaway to Unplug and Relax
We stayed here for 3 weeks while visiting family. The owners obviously put a lot of thought into making the house comfortable and easy to be away from home. There were so many things to make it a little extra special like coloring books and pencils, books and toys for kids to play with and of course the fully stocked kitchen which included a full set of cookware, baking dishes, tons of utensils and kitchen staples, spices, flour, sugar, coffee, even condiments in the refrigerator. It appears we were the first guests and that much of the house was newly renovated. We enjoyed the large master bath with tub, brand new stove and appliances. And we enjoyed the peace and quiet of a small town and a back road with lots of privacy. We live in MA and this was also convenient to our family just a few miles away. We will definitely plan to stay here again when we visit family. Thank you!
