Just 1 1/2 blocks to the beach, 2 blocks to the north end of the famous 3-mile beach Boardwalk and miles away from the crowds! Located in the exclusive north end and neighboring the historic, recently restored luxurious Cavalier Hotel and Beach Club, the jewel of Virginia Beach! You've never known this Virginia Beach!

But don't be afraid to put your feet up-we designed it for relaxing with calm, neutral color tones, luxurious bedding, comfortable beds and sparkling bathrooms with imported tile. It's full of character and charm.

We pay special attention to the linens and bedding provided for you. And, you control the temperature of both air conditioning systems--1 for the main level and 1 for the bedroom level, to ensure your preferred comfort level. Just upgraded blazing-fast wi-fi runs throughout the house and porch. Each of the 5 Smart TV's--1 in the Living Room and one in EACH of the 4 bedrooms, have Cox Cable and Netflix. The home receives an exhaustive and thorough cleaning from top to bottom. Plus, we block 3 days before your reservation to attend to details like organizing, arranging, restocking, and other preparations for your stay. A variety of bath & shower toiletries, a linen closet full of white fluffy towels, make-up mirrors & dressing vanities are provided for your personal use. And for those that bring work with you, there is a custom built-in desk outfitted with an HP Laserjet copier/printer/scanner in the Owners Suite.

We are located in a village-style neighborhood filled with charming vintage beach homes and original Williamsburg colonials that have been passed down for generations. We abut the great lawn of the historic Cavalier Hotel, which just completed an 82 million dollar restoration and is the crowning glory of VB. This is the very best of VB. The area most people never get a chance to experience. Where the famous 3-mile Beach Boardwalk ends and the private, peaceful beaches begin! A much, much less congested area but still extremely walkable to many of VB's best chef-owned restaurants that cater to the locals all year around. You'll be treated to the best and freshest of the incredible local seafood, and farm to table menus.

Our beach is lined with large grand beach homes. The crowds are smaller if any at all, even at the peak of the season. The wide, sandy, white beach allows very generous amounts of space between groups. It's a very peaceful way to spend a day. Or jump the waves, ride the boogie boards, swim the coastline. No worries...a lifeguard is on duty at the 42nd St beach during the season. Later in the day, the surfers come out and the locals come to surf cast from the shoreline. Stay and watch until the sun goes down. Something exciting is bound to happen!

When you get your share of jumping waves, ride the beach bikes down the bike path that borders Atlantic Ave and leads to the Ft Story beaches and lighthouses. Once there, you can climb to the top of the lighthouse for incredible views. Or take in some history by visiting the memorial marking the first landing spot of the English Settlers who went on to establish Jamestown over 400 years ago.

Or do you feel like shopping for souvenirs, mixing with the crowds and catching the free, live entertainment further down? Leave the car and avoid the stop-and-go traffic and parking hassles. Just jump on the Wave Shuttle just 2 streets away. It runs every 15-20 minutes and It will take you up and down Atlantic Ave all day and well into the evening. You will need cash.

And when you want to experience the nightlife, be safe and Uber there! Avoid the stop and stop traffic and limited parking. It's cheap since we are at on edge of the resort area where all the action is.

Then come home. This is the very best part of VB. The part of VB most people never get to experience. The unspoiled beauty that the locals prefer. Come and enjoy our secret.

Four beautiful & spacious bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms include luxury bedding: sheets, pillows, blankets, quilts, duvets, lots of white fluffy towels and toiletries.

The Owners Suite has a sitting area, a built-in desk alcove, a private fully tiled en suite bathroom, and a balcony with incredible view of the Cavalier Bell Tower.

Everyone wakes up happy in Bedroom 2's queen size bed. Beautiful windows surround and offer romantic views of the Cavalier Hotel's bell tower lit up at night.

Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and its own balcony with 2 Adirondack chairs--great for stargazing.

Bedroom 4 has two matching, full-size, double beds that will easily accept 2 adults or 4 children.

All bedrooms feature quality bed linens, quilts, blankets, pillows, and ceiling fans.

A large, spacious kitchen with plenty of room for a couple of chefs. It has a 5 burner gas range with double ovens, a French-style refrigerator with an extra one in the garage, and various small appliances such as a Mr. Coffee maker, Nespresso, French Press, blender, panini maker, rice cooker, food processor, crockpot, coffee grinder, and a few others.

Though the kitchen is the heart of this well-loved home, there are many spaces to gather. The large living room with a gas fireplace, large stuffed sofas, and club chairs are a natural choice. The Piano Room is great for listening to album’s from the Big Band era to Bruce Springsteen. Or settle in with a good book. But sooner or later, everyone ends up on the porch!

We provide you with beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, buckets, shovels, a beach cart to carry it all and 5 beach bikes.
