Friendly hotel
We use the hotel as an overnight from Canmore back to Vancouver. The room was nice, and breakfast was good. The personal at the hotel was very nice and helpful. Nearby Vernon there is a beach named Kal beach where we took a swim :D

At first, it was assigned to Room 322, but it was difficult to use the toilet because the toilet water tank did not fill up even after waiting for 1 hour and 30 minutes.However, the front staff changed the room to room 309, allowing us to have a comfortable time.Thank you.

Good location. Noisy in the room. Children in room.above us started running around quit early. Breakfast was disappointing as the potatoes were not cooked enough. The potatoes and sausages were vold not hot as tgey should be.

I did not like that i was put in a room next to the elevator. I am here in small city Vernon on a Monday mid March dont tell me you have no other room other than one next to the elavator. Plus the TV only have access to abog 10 channels with No movies. I dont have tv in the home so would of been nice to watch something while in a hotel. Unbelievable that a higher end hotel doesnt have access to movie channels.

Close to multiple restaurants and casino for entertainmen, the restaurant in the casino is very good and reasonable priced especially if you get their for happy hour.

Location was very convenient, walking distance to grocery, coffee shop and restaurants. My room 316 was clean and had a mountain view. Breakfast is ok with hot food (scrambled egg, potatoes, sausages, oatmeal, waffles). I would book again with them next time.

Very disappointed after being gone all day, came back and beds were not remade, not even refilling the coffee pods or cups in the room. Went to the pool and no clean towels. Had to phone and get some. No Lysol wipes or water in the gym. When you pay over $400 for 2 nights I would have expected better service.

Negative experience
I booked approximately a month before our stay. I requested a ground floor room for my disabled husband. Arrive, no ground floor available for us. Sent to second floor. Upon entry to our room, I noticed that the room had a very bad smell to it. It was either body odor or someone ate something very off it the room. I opened the window and aired it out until we returned from dinner. It helped but the smell was still strong in the bathroom. There were no suitcase racks. My husband needed to rest for his surgery the next day. It was so noisy. I finally called the frontdesk at 10pm, due to the people above us running and jumping. The next day we noticed that outside the lobby was littered with cigarette butts. After being at the hospital we learned my husbands long awaited surgery was now cancelled. The plan was to stay another night while my husband was in hospital, but with the cancellation, it was not necessary and we just wanted to get back home. I asked if we could checkout early, and explained the circumstances, we did not want a refund but perhaps a credit for the next surgery date, We were leaving early enough that they could clean and rent the room out again. The lovely girl at the frontdesk said she would email the manager. Within minutes, I was told the manager said no, no refund or credit. We have stayed here several times, and this time was a bad experience from beginning to end. Disappointing to say the least. We will not be staying here again.

Super clean pool area which is a rarity in hotels. Some hair was left in the shower, but not a deal-breaker. No food on property but right next door is a bunch of restaurants within 30 yards.
