Et dejligt ferieophold
Vi havde set meget frem til vores familieferie i Caleta de Velez og vi blev ikke skuffede. Vi opholdt os primært i og ved huset, da vi havde 2 børn med på hhv. 4 og 2 år. Det var slaraffenland med den dejlige terrasse og swimmingpool, som var en stor del af hele ferien med alle måltider, leg, badning og afslapning på terrassen. Udsigten ud over Middelhavet både morgen (når bådene kom ind), aktiviteterne hen over dagen og solnedgang og de dejlige aftener med byen foran dig. Det har været et rigtigt dejligt ophold og Tony som en venlig og hjælpsom husvært. Sørgede for en meget billig taxa til lufthavnen midt om natten. Vi kommer gerne igen til Caleta de Velez. En rigtig spansk villa med en skøn, og bedre udsigt end billederne viser. Dejlig stor pool.
En skøn villa, i et dejlig lokalt område men ikke langt 2-3 kilometer til større by, Torre del mar. Du har flere supermarkeder og lokal bager inden for gå afstand, samt skøn strand og dejlige restauranter. ( El Bodegon, er et besøg værd!) Du for følelsen af at sidde på toppen og i ro og mag kigge på kysten ind mod byen. Villaen har hvad man kan forvente og lidt til. meget sød vært som reagere og forsøger at hjælpe/løse de problemer man måtte have. Til Minus siden, og derfor den sidste manglende stjerne: Sengene, specielt i det ene rum, trænger de til udskiftning. Bier, vi havde desværre en del hvepsebo, Tony sendte en mad en time efter vi skrev til ham, og kom dagen efter og gjorde hvad han kunne. Men vi havde konstant 10-20 bier omkring poolen fordi vi kunne ikke finde de sidstes bo. Og måtte derfor starten dagene med at slå en del ihjel, Op til 30 stk. Da vi har små børn blev det lidt en stres faktor. skal dog nævnes at de ikke var aggressive og når det blev køligere om aftenen, så vi ikke meget til dem til dem. Tony ville forsøge at fjerne med kemikalier når huset var tomt over nogle dage. Alt i alt et dejligt hus, vi bestemt kunne finde på at leje igen. og gerne vil anbefale. Geniale Terasse mit wunderbarem Blick auf das Meer
Wir haben hier 6 Wochen verbracht und es war wunderbar! - Tolle Terasse ( bereits morgens ein sonniges Plätzchen zu finden, wenn man möchte ). - Der Blick auf das Meer und den Fischerei Hafen ist unbeschreiblich schön. - Parkplatz für 2 Wohnmobile (je 6,4 m lang) vorhanden. - Der offene Kamin wurde abends regelmäßig genutzt. Das notwendige Holz konnte vorab über Tony organisiert werden. - tolle, schnelle und unkomplizierte Kommunikation vorab und während des Aufenthaltes. Dafür nochmals ein großes Dankeschön. - viele gute Restaurants / Bars / Strand Cafés zu Fuß erreichbar. - Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ebenfalls gut zu Fuß erreichbar ( Bäckerei, Obstladen, Supermärkte. Apotheke) - Ausflug nach Malaga und Nerja mit Alsa Bus möglich, günstig und am besten über ALSA App Fahrzeiten anschauen und auch Ticket kaufen . - Ausstattung der Villa wie in der Anzeige beschrieben . Fazit: Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen! Ein tolles Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Danke für eine wunderbare Zeit !

Good location with great views
The villa is located close to the local beaches shops and restaurants. The views from the patios are fantastic, watching the fishing fleet come in over breakfast was a treat. The villa was spacious for the six of us. The pool was also well maintained and clean. The villa was a bit tired, eg repairs to the baths and showers required but that did not impair on our stay. Overall, we had a good week as it is a good location for Caleta, walkable to Torre del Mar and we also caught the bus to Malaga for a day trip.

Summer to remember
The villa was great, with a really well equipped kitchen. The location of the villa meant it had fantastic views of the coast of Caleta de Vèlez and Torre de Mar, which I really miss. The pool at the villa is a great size and with plenty of sun loungers and outdoor space. There are several restaurants within a short walk and an even greater selection if you're willing to walk into Torre de Mar or alternatively a short cab ride away. I can't fault the host who was fantastic and in communication with us when needed at all times. There was a small issue with the pool during our stay and I thought that might mean we couldn't use it for a period of our holiday he arranged someone to come around that day and it was functional later that afternoon. Throughout, the host would check in that we're ok and kept us updated with progress. I really couldn't fault how quickly they tried to fix things, it was really impressive.

Wonderful for a break
Fantastic location (with car). The house was impecable and well prepared. We enjoyed the pool, going out and a bbq evening at home. The house had all we needed and there is a lot to see and visit nearby. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Charmante villa met prachtig uitzicht
Wij hebben genoten van het verblijf in deze villa met uitzicht op de haven van Caleta de Velez. Check in was heel goed geregeld.Communicatie met Anthony was uitstekend. Er zijn wel zaken die een opfrisbeurt nodig hebben,zoals bijvoorbeeld de zitkussens en de ijzeren stoelen aan de b.b.q. Een likje verf op de stoelen geeft al een heel ander uitzicht.De kussens zijn tot op de draad versleten. Binnen zijn er ook een aantal zaken die een opfrisbeurt nodig hebben. Er is ook maar 1grote en 1 kleine badhanddoek per persoon aanwezig. Dat maakt dat je meerdere keren een wasmachine halfvol moet laten bollen. Wat meer elektriciteit en waterverbruik tot gevolg heeft. Ik raad de villa aan iedereen aan ,maar met een aantal opfrissingen zal ze nog beter tot haar recht komen. Aan Anthony nog eens een dank U wel voor de goede communicatie

Hartelijk dank voor de opmerking. We hebben al verschillende kussens gekocht en ook wat ligstoelen. Wat er gebeurt, is dat mensen kussens en ligstoelen buiten laten staan en beschadigd raken. Als het gebruik is afgelopen, is het raadzaam om de kussens binnen te laten en de ligstoelen op het dak van het terras te laten staan. Wat betreft de lakens en handdoeken, voordat je verschillende sets bad- en strandhanddoeken had, gebruikten mensen ze de afgelopen dagen allemaal en wasten ze een week of twee niets. We hebben geen tijd om de schoonmaak te doen voor de volgende die dezelfde dag binnenkomen. Foto's zijn net als VRBO. We hebben wat renovaties uitgevoerd in het zwembad, de badkamers..., toen we een paar vrije dagen hadden, wanneer het niet gereserveerd is. Het is een veelgevraagd huis en het is erg moeilijk om in het algemeen een grote hervorming door te voeren. Na verloop van tijd overwogen we een grote hervorming van het huis, maar de prijs zou niet meer hetzelfde zijn, de prijs zou erg hoog zijn. Op dit moment is het een toegankelijke prijs voor iedereen die ervan wil genieten. Sorry Theo van de handdoeken en kussens. Je had het me kunnen vertellen en ik zou het hebben opgelost. Elk jaar schilderen we de ijzeren stoelen, maar dit onmogelijke jaar is alles gereserveerd voor 2023 en 2024. Deze zondag heb ik 4 dagen om de stoelen te schilderen, de enige 4 dagen die ik heb om dit werk te doen, want daarna is het onmogelijk. Met vriendelijke groeten, Monique

Lovely house with fabulous views
The house is in a quiet residential area with fantastic uninterrupted views to the port and bay. This is one of the best equipped villas we have stayed in and is very comfortable. We didn't use the lovely pool much due to unseasonal wet, cold weather unfortunately. But there were plenty of books, a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle as well as the huge tv with Netflix, Prime and YouTube installed. Tony provided plenty of information prior to our arrival and was very responsive while we were at the house. Hopefully we will return in the future.

Perfect retreat for family and friends
We were a family of 6 adult, my husband and I and our 2 adult sons and their girlfriends and the house was great for three couples. Pool area with great views and different areas to hang out, in sun or shade. Extra plus for parking space. Since stores and restaurants were within walking distance, we didn't use our cars very much. Some of the cushions for the outdoor chairs were in bad condition and some of the pots and pans need to be replaced. We told Anthony about it and he will surely take action, as he was very easy to contact and very helpful throughout our stay. We recommend this place and would love to come back in the future.

Wundervoller Urlaub
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es ist alles wie auf den Fotos zu sehen und wie es beschrieben wird. Zu den Preis unschlagbar. Der Pool wurde Anfang April jeden Tag genutzt, sowohl morgens wie abends. Es gibt ausreichend Platz und viele Möglichkeiten sich zusammen zu setzen. Wir haben auch gerne den Grill genutzt um die lokalen Köstlichkeiten zuzubereiten. Perfekt ausgestattete, moderne Küche, Riesen-TV mit diversen Streamingdiensten. Und natürlich die fantastische Aussicht die wir nicht nur beim Frühstück genießen durften. 100% Weiterempfehlung.

Trevlig och rymlig villa.
Fantastisk utsikt och trevlig terass med olika sittgrupper. Rymliga sällskapsytor både ute och inne. Riktigt bra sängar och välutrustat kök. Lite behov av renovering. Alla 6 vuxna hade en trevlig och fin vistelse över jul.

Mahtava sijainti ja upeat maisemat!
Ihana talo ja puutarha rauhallisessa ympäristössä. Lyhyt kävelymatka Caleta de Velezin kalastajasatamaan ja keskustaan. Kaupat ja ravintolat noin 15 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Puutarhassa iso uima-allas ja terassilla hiiligrilli. Autolle oma parkkipaikka. WI-FI toimi hyvin. Meille jäi erityisesti mieleen upeat auringonlaskut ja kalastajaveneiden saapuminen satamaan, joita ihailimme ja seurasimme terassilta. Tänne voisi tulla uudestaan!

Hello Sabine. Ist sehr schwer zu renovieren, weil es ein haus ist, das immer vermietet wird und unmöglich ist. Der preis ist ziemlich interessant und sehr gut, wenn ich reformieren muss, wird es nicht mehr der gleiche preis sein, der preis wäre viel teurer. Sie waren bereits in diesem haus und die reformen, die wir im haus gemacht haben, den pool und einen teil der terrasse und des gartens. Die küche. kühlschrank, backofen. Usw..., sie sind alle neu. Auf den fotos sieht man perfekt die möbel und jetzt mit einem 55" Tv. Es ist bereits geplant, für das thema malerei für april die wand der Calima im letzten jahr zu bemalen.

A real gem.
We were sent lots of information before flying. The owner was easily available via what’s app. We reported to the owners that the coffee machine was broken, a new one arrived the next day! Brilliant service, There is a 55inch smart television which we paired up to our phones to watch movies and listen to music. The Wi-Fi is very good. The house is spotless and the bed was super comfy. There is a large American style fridge freezer so that there is loads of room for drinks and ice. Outside is just breathtaking. The view spreads across the harbour and along the coast. We sat for hours watching the fishing boats coming in and out. This is a quiet fishing town with a Main Street of shops and restaurants dotted along the road and sea front. If you prefer all English bars then this is not the place for you. There is a sports bar so we were able to watch football and most restaurants have the menu in English or a qr code scanner. The beautiful pool is seawater and there are plenty of sunbeds and tables and chairs along with a bbq for alfresco dining There is a designated parking space for a car. The is an Aldi and Lidl, along with several Spanish supermarkets. There is a lovely shopping centre approx 10 mins drive away. We visited the local market on Saturday which was just down the bottom of the hill. We had a wonderful holiday. We came back relaxed and full of tasty fish dishes, though my hubby is a convert to Iberian pork fillet. We would return in a heartbeat. We love this villa and the town. We got back a few hours ago and are planning our next trip.

Great location with plenty of space for the family. Swimming pool was awesome.
Lots of space inside and outside the villa. Pool was great and views of the bay / beach beautiful. Market on Saturday morning 5 min walk away. Aldi is 10/ 15 minute walk and 2 mins in the car. Great stay for the family and well stocked with crockery, glasses and cooking equipment etc. Tony provided plenty of info in the local area and restaurants etc. Communication was excellent.

Perfect for lounging by the pool
The property was exactly as described, clean with all the conveniences you'd expect in a permanent home. It was well equipped for lounging on the terrace and the pool itself was a smash hit! The beach, supermarkets and a good variety of shops within a short walk, and the house itself in a very peaceful area around 40 minutes from Malaga airport by car. Plenty of parking space for our two hire cars. Janne kindly honored our booking from 2020 and gave very efficient communication of property details and access. Highly recommended for a hassle-free holiday!

Lovely views out over the sea. Nice to be out the town a little but only a short walk (10mins) into Caleta de Velez or 30mins into Torre del Mar. Lovely restaurants and bars in both.

The house is perfectly situated just above the small city of Caleta de Veles. It is eves better than the pictures, very clean , well equipped, and with a beautiful garden with sun from morning to night. It,s a beaytiful view over the sea and the sunset. A magnificent holiday at a wonderful villa!
We waited quite some time for this holiday but it certainly worth the wait! The villa is located in a nice local area and has several Spanish bars and restaurants nearby, serving tapas, fresh fish dishes, paella, steaks and salads plus churros and hot chocolate at breakfast time! It is not your typical tourist town, we enjoyed having a go at speaking a little Spanish with the locals when we went out and everyone made us feel very welcome. The market on a Saturday morning is bustling with stalls, and there are a couple of grocery stores plus an Aldi within a 10 minute walk. The villa is up a short hill and we absolutely loved the elevated position which gave us a spectacular view over the port, this is certainly the best thing about the location, it truly is breathtaking! The pool and outside space is clean and tidy and we had the sun all day long in late October, we didn't BBQ as we ate out pretty much every night, but you could quite easily self-cater using the excellent facilities at the villa. If you do wish to travel further afield you will probably prefer to hire a car but we managed to spend 10 days visiting many towns and villages in the area via bus, on foot and the odd taxi ride (thanks to the host for providing us with a good taxi firm who also offered airport transfers at a very reasonable price). Places of interest are Competa (via bus from Algarrabo), Frigiliana (via bus from Nerja), Nerja (via bus), Torre Del Mar (walking), Vélez-Malaga (taxi). Ot really was a super area to visit topped off by an amazing villa! Thanks to our hosts for being so helping and kind with wonderful communication throughout! We hope to return again soon!

Super villa in Caleta de Velez
We had a great stay at this super villa. It’s exceptionally clean and well equipped. It has lovely tended simple gardens with plenty of shade when required with a large wrap - around porch. The villa is very private. It is traditionally furnished in style and is air conditioned which was quiet and effective. The pool is absolutely wonderful and much larger than usually available. The view from the villa is breathtaking - overlooking the port and torre del mar in the distance. Our hosts were extremely flexible and polite ; they enabled an early check in when they could accommodate it. Nothing was too much trouble and we were warmly welcomed and shown around the villa. There is a parking space for your hire car just down the road. The area is not remotely like the touristy “strips” on the other side of Malaga and felt properly Spanish. The local chiringuitos provide fresh excellent food at remarkably reasonably prices. They are always busy on weekend afternoons when we saw lots of Spanish families eating out together. More of them close for food around 4pm it seems. Locally we loved el camarote - right outside the port - which has fresh fresh every day. Live music on Saturdays ! ( table booking needed ) There are plenty of places to eat but they all appear to be closed on Mondays. Supermarket Aldi is close as are Mercado and Eroksi . Street market on Sats ( Caleta ) Thursdays in Velez & TDM The only issue is the hill - a flight of 37 steps then short steep climb. After a lovely meal and wine in blazing sun it seemed mountainous. if you have mobility issues / young children / lots to carry it could be a problem on foot. We had thought we would find taxis but there was only one taxi rank locally which is at the far end of Caleta and we didn’t see any out at all. There was a rank in Torre del Mar and our host kindly gave us the number of a local driver who was able to operate using WhatsApp but he was based in Torre Del Mar and it seemed unreasonable to call him from a much busier area for a very short run. buses stop at the bottom of the hill into town but the timetable erratic. There is however a good bus from Torre Del Mar to Malaga running about every hour. Journeys take an hour and it’s about 5euros per person return. Due to the public transport limitations when we visited Velez and Torre Del Mar we walked . It’s about 20 mins to the outskirts of Torre Del Mar ( 50 mins to the far end ) ; an hour to Velez.. Great stay !

Estupenda casa en zona muy tranquila y a la vez "cerca de todo". Amplia ,con gran espacio exterior y sobre todo la piscina de agua salada. A destacar el excelente trato del propietario, muy atento y flexible a la hora de entrar y dejar la casa. Recomendable al 100%.

Hemos pasado unos días maravillosos en familia en esta estupenda casa Totalmente equipada con todo lo que puedas necesitar, salón amplio, habitaciones con salida a la piscina....y lo mejor de todo las vistas al mar desde cualquier parte. Comer o cenar en el porche es muy agradable con esas vistas. Buena zona de barbacoa. El dueño muy agradable y atento.

Heerlijk verblijf in fantastische villa
Wij zijn net teruggekomen na een heerlijk verblijf in een fantastische privévilla in Caleta de Valez! Prachtig uitzicht op de zee en een eigen zwembad. Tony en Monique waren gastvrij en gaven tips over goede eettentjes in de buurt. Locatie tussen Malaga en Nerja. Echt een aanrader!

Superbe sejour
Fabuleux séjour durant lequel nous avons pu découvrir une partie de cette belle région qu’est l’Andalousie. La maison est idéalement située car légèrement en retrait de la ville (du coup très calme) mais seulement à 5 minutes de Torre del Mar. Vue magnifique sur la baie!!! Villa très bien équipée, totalement conforme aux photos et au descriptif. Mention spéciale pour Tony (le propriétaire) très avenant, de bon conseil -sur les sites à voir et les bons restaurants- et très disponible !

15 días en el paraíso
Hemos pasado 15 días de ensueño en Villa Monique, la casa tiene todos los complementos, salón mui grande, cocina bien equipada, habitaciones amplias y con cómodas camas. Tiene buena zona de verde, parrilla, dos zonas para comer, una piscina de buen tamaño, está cerca de la playa y lo mejor unas vistas inmejorables. Queremos agradecer a Tony la amabilidad con la que nos trató y siempre dispuesto a lo que le pedimos. Un anfitrión de 10 en una casa de 10. Sin duda, repetiremos!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Tony a été disponible et accommodant dans les procédures d'arrivée et de départ et nous a donné de très bons conseils de restauration. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme de la propriété et sa vue.

Parfait !
Nous avons trouvé la villa encore meilleure que sur l'annonce. Idéalement située pour voyager en Andalousie, elle a tout pour se reposer à un prix tout à fait correct. De grandes pièces climatisée ainsi qu'une très large terrasse, une piscine toujours à bonne température, la villa surplombe un site offrant une vue splendide sur la mer. De plus, pour ceux qui auront une voiture sur place, la villa se trouve stratégiquement bien placée avec un accès à 5 minutes de l'autoroute. La plage, les restaurants et les commerces essentiels sont tous à moins de 10 minutes à pied. J'oubliais, le propriétaire est très présent en cas de besoin, il aura pleins de bonnes astuces à vous partager dès votre arrivée. (Le plus pour les français est qu'il parle couramment notre langue). Our holiday at Villa Monique
Please don’t hesitate to book this villa. We stayed for 10 days in August and had a great holiday with the family. This was mainly due to the glorious weather and spectacular views. The pool was great for kids and adults alike and the outside space was great. Leading up to our trip communication was great worth the owners and Peppe greeted us on our arrival and on our departure too, to return the deposit. The only negative is that internally the decor and furnishing are a little dated and in need of updating, but this is only minor grumble as most days were spent outside. Everything also was in walking distance including Aldi (closed Sundays) and restaurants by the beach, which are about a 10 to 15min walk. All in all we had a lovely time, thanks again.

Fantastic villa in an amazing location
This is one of the best villas that we have stayed in, and was exactly as described. It’s location is second to none, with views from the patio over the port and beach. We enjoyed watching all the boats coming in and out at all times of the day. Equally beautiful at night when the beach promenade and running track on the beach is lit up. The villa was well stocked - we always take pint glasses, large mugs and wine glasses with us, as often villas do not have these items. However, this villa did, so here was no need to have brought them! The pool is salt water, which is wonderful as it does not sting your eyes as chlorine sometimes can do, and is big enough that you can do some lengths (or as a family of 4, all get in at once without being on top of each other!) It is reasonably deep in both the shallow and deep end - again suited us as a family with older children. There is a nice separate area with views over the beach to have a BBQ, which we did every night we stayed in. There are restaurants within easy walking distance, which do delicious fresh fish. There is an Aldi supermarket within walking distance, although Mercadona is a 5 minute drive away with a fresh fish and meat counter. We are a family of runnners, and without knowing it before we booked, there is a 3.4k dedicated running track on the beach, with bars for post run refreshments! This made what would have been a great location anyway, perfect as we could all run our separate distances and arrange to meet in Churinguito Puerto Victoria afterwards (which did great Mojitos!) All in all, we cannot fault this villa. Such a lovely relaxing holiday. A big thank you to Monique and Peppe for the excellent communication both before and during our stay. We would love to come back.

Amazing family holiday in beautiful Caleta de Velexz
On arrival at Malaga airport we were picked up by Raymond, a local taxi company recommended by Monique, and driven to the villa - approximately 40 minute drive. We were greeted by Pepe on arrival at the villa and shown around the property. The villa is very Spanish and in a beautiful location with an amazing view of the harbour and beach. The walk up to the villa is steep but manageable. There is a big supermarket (Aldi) a ten minute walk away and a smaller Spanish style shop selling groceries a similar distance away. We hired a car for 3 days from a local car rental company which again was recommended by Monique and the office is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. We visited surrounding areas and also Gibraltar - Gibraltar is a must see and is just over 2 hours drive away. Communication with Monique before our visit and throughout our stay was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. We had planned to eat out most nights but decided in the end to cook our meals in the villa and eat them on the veranda looking out at the breathtaking views. So relaxing and peaceful - the villa is situated in a very quiet location . We are looking to book to go back again next year as we loved it so much. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful villa.
