I would currently only recommend the upstairs 3 bedroom Villa. As the downstairs 2 bedroom annex has a damp problem. This property could be absolutely amazing. The views are spectacular and El Portet small beach is perfect for children. (Villa not suitable for under 3’s due to open internal & external steps) We had a few issues with heating for pool - I only gave 2 days notice and after 4 days pool was still not heating up and when asked if we could have air con put on, there were not enough working batteries for all of the controllers. Owner did come with some new batteries 2 days before we left. But the major issue was SEVERE DAMP Unfortunately the two bedrooms that are situated in a separate annex below the main Villa, is severely damp. As soon as the door to the property was opened you could smell the damp. In the smallest bedroom, there was a huge area of paint that could visibly be seen, that had bubbled and cracked but the owner said this was a paint problem. After several days, our clothes became very damp as did the bed mattresses. On pulling one of the beds away from the wall we discovered green/black mould in the corner and running up and along the wall. We contacted owner, who felt our clothes and said this was due to moisture. However, when I showed him the pulled out bed and green/black mould on the walls, he seemed shocked. We asked him for a mattress to put upstairs for the last few nights but he said he didn’t have any. He said the property was fully booked until the end of the season and so what he would do once we left, was seal all the walls and paintwork with special paint and then do some major repair work in September - namely remove a tree and flower bed from outside on the adjacent wall, which he thinks is the cause of the problem. Once the damp is fixed, I would recommend this property, until then I would only recommend the upstairs 3 bedroom Villa.
