Meget skuffende service og slidt hotel
Vi skulle vente 1 time på værelset var klar - ingen i receptionen smilede og virkede bare sure kun manden der bar baggagen op var sød og hjælpsom - hele hotellet bære præg af det slidt og mangler en Update - ingen minibar med vand eller lign, du for 2 små vand ved første indtjekning resten af dagene ved rengøring ingen vand, det max 3 stjernet hotel .. meget skuffende oplevelse forstår ikke de har gode anmeldelse med sådan en sur reception

Vores minibar er à la carte, derfor er den tom ved ankomst og fyldes efter kundens ønske med deres yndlingsprodukter.Vi sørger for en flaske vand per person ved ankomst sammen med te- og kaffeservice.En hjertelig hilsen

Lækkert og komfortabelt Luxus hotel
Hotellet var lækkert og meget komfortabelt. Vi var to unge gutter der afsted. Hotellet er mere til 40+ alderen syntes vi. Der var ikke mange unge på hotellet, hvilket var lidt øv. Man skal også være opmærksom på at mange bader topløs, så hvis man er sart med det skal nok ikke vælge dette område. Det var både ved poolen og stranden.

Needs renovation/ improvement.
Hotel: Pools are nice, tiles around pool cracked/loose. Kitchen/buffet overcooks fish and meat. Some of the staff in the buffet restaurant, were grumpy and ignored contact. Intertainment DJ annoying. Wifi don´t work most the time. Building needs renovation(walls cracked/painting inadequite/looks old/lost track of time) Room: 3. bed folding sofa(very uncomfortable), cracked tiles on bathroom, bathtub broken, cleaning inadequite. Bathroom glases never changed(washed in bathroom sink). White curtains are grey. No freezer in fridge. On arrival we had to call for extra towel, and Again during the stay. Bathtowels shabby/stained.

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your review of our hotel. We lament the shortcomings which you perceived during your stay with us. We are sorry that the food was not to your liking: our buffet restaurant La Finca offers a wide variety of choice, including a cold station with salads, cheese, cold meat, etc.; a hot station with different type of dishes including vegetarian ones; a station for pasta and pizza, and another for dessert; as well as the show-cooking where our chefs prepare 2 types of fish and 2 types of meat in front of guests. We are surprised to hear your comments about our staff, as their service is highly valued among our guests in general; we are sorry if the service did not meet your expectations. For the Summer season, our entertainment team has introduced parties in our pool bar from 20.00h to 23.00h so that our guests can enjoy a drink on the terrace with chill out music; we are sorry if this was not to your taste. We also offer our main show in the bar hall (floor -2 ) every evening. We have an ongoing maintenance and replacement plan and our rooms have been updated in various respects in recent times; our website and the brochures of the various agencies confirm that a third person in a double room will be accommodated on a sofa-bed. These sofa-beds have viscoelastic material, measure 190cm x 100cm x 10cm; and they have been newly replaced in the last year. With respect to the Wi-Fi, we apologise if the signal was weak at some points during your holiday; we are in contact with our supplier regarding this matter. All our rooms are equipped with a mini bar (not a fridge) to keep the products chilled. Costa Adeje Gran Hotel has an ongoing improvement & maintenance plan and many of our installations and facilities have been upgraded over the past few years, such as our restaurant and the redecoration of our rooms

Absolut ikke 5 stjernet
Det positive ved dette hotel må bl.a. være pool-områderne, der er store, med 2 "heated pools", heraf en ligger på helt skøn tagterrasse, der er meget behagelig at opholde sig på. Hotellet har ligeledes behagelige lounches, hvor der kan slappes af. Derimod er det svært at finde en mere gennemført ringe restaurant, hvorfra buffet if. med hel- eller halvpension indtages. Det kan vel sagtens ikke betegnes som en restaurant, men i højere grad en spisesal, der er kaotisk, larmende og et generelt frastødende område man hurtigst muligt vil flygte fra.

Amazing hotel. Great staff and amazingfood. I loved my stat..never seen such great hotel staff. Nice location 10 minutes to the beach. Not so great for people with limited mobility as they will need to catch a taxi back from the beach for €4 as the hotel is uphill . Would definitely go back. Well done to the management.

The hotel is badly in need of refurbishment. The furniture in the rooms is dated and ill matching. I do not expect a 5 star hotel to have coffee making facilities which consist of a small kettle and sachets of cheap, instant coffee. With regard to this, when we arrived, those meagre facilities were not available in either of the 2 rooms we had booked. It was not until the next day that they arrived in our daughter's room. On one occasion the room was not cleaned, despite our being out for most of the day, This was only rectified after 2 phone calls to reception .In addition, the toiletries available are not up to 5 star standard The service in the hotel is far from what is expected of a 5 star hotel i.e. no turn down service, no welcoming drink(not necessarily alcoholic). The rules re sunbeds apparently forbid reserving before 10am.While I appreciate that reserving a sun bed and then disappearing for a long period of time is unacceptable, all of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in previously have allowed between 45 mins and 1 hour to allow time to have breakfast. In addition, the hotel should provide some training to the group of men who are responsible for removing the towels etc as their approach was intimidating. The mini golf course is falling to pieces and there were slug pellets within easy reach of children. In my opinion this is not a 5 star hotel.

Had a great stay as a family of three with a 5 years old. Facilities and staff are great and very child friendly. Buffet dinners and lunches varied - some days were excellent, other not so much. Pools are also lovely. The only true inconvenience was an absolute lack of ventilation on the bathroom/toilet. Would certainly return despite of this.

The hotel was clean but needs a deep clean it looked tired in places. Adult only pool silly to open it at 10am! Ridiculous should be open 8.30am as should the pool bar and not 11am!! The balcony lights automatically ago off at 11pm,really poor there should be alternative light so guests can continue their evening and not have it cut short because of other guests, ITS everyone’s HOLIDAY!. Breakfast was the best part of the hotel, excellent choice. The evening entertainments was mixed from poor to bad, but the biggest issue was the seating area …..it felt like an airport departure lounge and not inviting.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cet hôtel. Malgré sa taille il ne fait pas "usine" grâce à son architecture originale. L'ambiance y est sereine. Des transats sont toujours disponibles. Les repas sont très riches et variés. Le petit déjeuner était mémorable. 2 petits bémols : - Il a fallu au déjeuner et au dîner payer une bouteille d'eau (cher !) car l'eau du robinet n'est pas conseillée. Je trouve cela mesquin pour un 5 étoiles surtout quand on paye la pension complète. L'eau ne me semble pas facultative, - Notre chambre donnant à l'est, et le petit séchoir à linge étant fixé du mauvais côté, il était impossible de sécher les maillots de bain à cette période de l'année. Heureusement les serviettes de piscine sont proposées chaque jour et celles de douche changées quotidiennement. Malgré ces petits détails, je conseille vivement cet hôtel

Short break in Adeje
Had a lovely stay in Adeje, the Gran Costa is a nice hotel. It is a little dated could do with some modernisation to get to a 5* resort. That said they offer a lot to families. pool tables, air hockey and nightly entertainment provided in abundance and no shortage of sun loungers either. Thought it unusual to have to pay for bottles of water for the bedroom these are normally provided free daily, we received one free at the start of the holiday and that was it. Rooms cleaned daily but felt there was always an odour coming from the bathroom like stale water. The location of the hotel is good, you’re a 10 minute walk from the strip and the beach but there are bars, shops and restaurants within a 2 minute walk from the Hotel

Issues with Reception
We have stayed in this hotel many times and it is wonderful. The service at Reception was disappointing as our reservation was lost when we arrived and we had to wait an hour to get it sorted. It was stressful because we were told the hotel was sold out. We eventually got it sorted ourselves when we called hotels.com.

Gott hótel, falleg bygging og herbergi, og þó þetta sé farið að eldast var þetta góð dvöl, frábær sundlaugargarður og skemmtiatriði á hverju kvöldi, eina sem hægt væri að setja út á, var hávaði og skarkali í matsalnum á álagstímum

Location of property is excellent.. walking distance to beach and nearby shopping mall. There is full day of activities going in the hotel which keeps the kids busy and in evening there are performers coming from outside which were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel

Lovely hotel but noisy room, and food wasnt great.
Hotel is lovely, beautiful entrance and pool areas. Food wasn't great and the restaurant is more like a canteen. Rooms are large but very noisy. I was on the side by a road, on a low floor, which i didnt think was the best for a solo female traveller.

Good and clean hotel, maybe little too old and big but we had a great time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Only minus goes to a la carte restaurant (la laja) wich was not worth the price
