Thank you for staying and commenting on your recent stay here at HIE Sunnyvale. The hotel upgrade was actually 6 years ago! It is true that the elevator has been fully stopped working since 2 months and is already scheduled for a complete overhaul. The wait time for elevator service of this nature is approximately 4 to 6 months due to the time required for obtaining permits, ordering specially built parts, and the limited number of certified workers in the field. The United Elevator is the company chosen for this job and going to be modernizing the Elevator soon as the parts have already been ordered for it. We are waiting for the parts to be delivered here and as soon as it arrives United Elevator will start the work immediately. We are extremely sorry that you were not informed and for all the inconvenience you had to go through walking up and down the stairs. We thank you for your patience, and hope you will consider us again in the future when we are in a better condition.
