Go to Tregenna if you are a Family with children. If you, like me and my wife, look for a nice Classic hotel - go somewhere else. Do not let the nice exterior fool you into expecting an equal nice interior - you will be heavily disappointed. No internet in the rooms !

We are a proud 3 star family friendly hotel and welcome families and couples to our resort from all around the world. The grandeur of main hotel adds to the charm of resort and our exterior is reflected within. We do not advertise that Wi-Fi is available in rooms but we do advise guests it is available in our lobby area.

Extremely helpful staff in both reception and restaurant. The rooms we had were of a miserable quality. Very stuffy and humid smelling with visible mold on the walls of the bathroom. In general the hotel was tired looking and worn and the price way too high for the quality (or lack of quality) we were offered

Staff & Locaction excellent. Apartment tired, needs updating, veranda doors did not open, shower cubical very small, toilets a problem in on flush, takes at least 4-5 attempts. Unfortunately it was not what we were expecting, Given the cost.

AMAZING garden, the hotel is beautiful. The staff were lovely. Would have given 5 stars if the receptionist who welcomed us was friendlier. Otherwise this hotel is fabulous

Apartment was well appointed. The area was quiet and we were able to part very close to the accommodation. Staff were very nice and the food from the restraunt was lovely.

Property was very unique with lovely gardens and when the Sun is shining, you get great views over to Saint dives. It is a great location and has a number of facilities to enjoy although the Indoor pool Is open nine till six and whilst this is plenty of time it would’ve been more enjoyable It was open a bit later in the evening, perhaps to 8 pm. Itself was fine although there was some evidence of wear and tear and certainly a lick of paint would not go a miss specially in the corridors leading to the room. The room overall was tidy however there was a layer of dust on the TV remote the bin in the bathroom had seen very much better days, although this didn’t detract from our stay it does mean that we scored a four rather than the excellent as there were a number of things that could be improved. The staff overall were fine and friendly and the man at the security barrier was very helpful and always had a smile.

We do redecorate corridors regularly, but we have to bear in mind that unless we can block the entire corridors and adjoining rooms we do have paint smells which most guests would not like. We hope you reported any issues to our 24 hour reception allowing us the opportunity to investigate and remedy any issues

I would have given a higher rating if it wasn’t for the fact that I think I had the noisiest room in the hotel. I was near an internal door through to further rooms and every time someone opened it , it sounded like someone was opening my door as it made a noise. This made me a bit nervous as a single lady travelling alone. Also there was a party / wedding reception that went on until 12pm and I think I was right above it as I could hear every word to the songs even with the telly on. I gave a lower rating for cleanliness as although it was clean there was obvious mould on the bedroom wall and bathroom ceiling .

Loved the tropical gardens and the view over St Ives bay is amazing. Very friendly staff, the warm indoor pool was very relaxing. Good breakfast, plenty of options in a nice environment with lovely views from the restaurant. Good location for St Ives with lots of parking.

Super property and gave us everything we wanted for a family weekend away. Would have been "super-excellent" if the hotel could have arranged dry weather so we could play tennis too ;-)

The room was really small and out dated. It was so loud the pipes were banging all night and you can hear the people in the rooms above and next door as though they were sat next to you. The pool was terrible, slippery, outdated and you had to pay to use a towel. The grounds are lovely, staff were friendly and breakfast was standard. I personally would not stay again and feel that a travel lodge would have been better value for money.

Great stay and will definitely be back
Absolutely fabulous setting with stunning views. Friendly, polite and helpful staff (the receptionist was incredibly knowledgeable of the area and very helpful). The room was enormous and amazing value.

Tennis courts are well maintained. Lovely Christmas decorations. Friendly staff. A short walk to the town (but up a hill to get home to Tregenna!).

Couldn’t ask for better! Room was lovely, plenty of space and comfy bed. Well worth paying for the sea view room.

Für den Preis nicht gerechtfertigt
Wir hatten zu zweit ein Familienzimmer für 5 Personen. Das Zimmer war nicht schlecht allerdings erfüllte es den zu erwartenden Standard für den gezahlten Preis nicht daher eine mässige Bewertung. Wir waren die letzten Tage in vier verschiedenen Hotels wovon 3 von 4 billiger als dieses waren und alle waren sauberer, wärmer und schöner eingerichtet + hatten die besseren Parkplätze. Somit kann keine gute Bewertung gerechtfertigt werden. P.S. Es roch im gabzen Hotel und vor allem im Zimmer sehr Merkwürdig, so stark das man sich gestört fühlte.
