We stayed for 2 nights and loved it! It was so affordable and had fun amenities - especially for the kids! We loved the indoor/outdoor pool and games room. So fun to have access to mini golf and the courts outside. We were pleased with the continental breakfast! Staff were super friendly. Room was great - we loved having the pull out bed for our kids and it was fun to be right across from the pool!! Lots of good eats nearby - FOR SURE check out Mo ‘ Bettahs!! And a quick drive into Zion National Park which was phenomenal! We would definitely stay here again!! Thanks so much

Well I was a little worried after seeing all the reviews about this place being outdated, honestly I had zero issues here! Everything was great! The breakfast was good too and the room service staff were always quick to bring extra things we needed! So many food choices around this area and the pool / hot tub was usually always being used by kids but the room was clean I did not smell anything moldy either and yes the coffee was delicious

I was a weary traveler looking to fall asleep at 6pm but i gotta say, having a room facing the inside of the lobby with the pool and hot tub meant there was so much noise from all the kids and families hanging out out there. I didnt actually go to sleep til quiet time. Its all good tho. The hotel was nice.

Overall I enjoyed my stay for the price and would stay here again. The room was fairly clean, breakfast had plenty of filing options, and the included amenities (pool, hot tub, sport courts, etc.) were nice. I’m giving it four stars though because the tub/shower had a bit of wear and tear to it. Also, there’s a few details I noticed throughout the hotel and room that could use some small touch ups (broken clock in the pool area, hanging pictures not straight, etc.

April at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the hotel pool, ping pong and pool table. Breakfast was average and starts somewhat late at 7am. Beds need replacing/updating. This was my 2nd stay at this hotel and would stay here again.

No elevator even though there are rooms on the second floor. The window in our room didn’t look outside, but into the main floor lobby. The curtains didn’t block out the lobby’s lights. Those things were weird, but not dealbreakers. The bathtub looked dirty and my husband found mold under the bath mat. They gave us a full refund for the second night because of the mold. The mini golf course was fun.

The lobby was clean& the coffee was good, always available. The hot tub didn’t work. Had gave maintenance come. The room had ONE tiny little bar of soap for tub & sink. The towls were cheap & small. The tub had no way to stop the water to take a bath, they brought a plastic flat rubber piece. The shower curtain bar was mounted to the wall with rusted out old mounts. However the tub was clean. There was One small trash can for the entire room & bath. No one answered the phone to call for help, & there was no space to leave a message. The breakfast was poor & people were fighting over the one waffle maker. So, we left. This was a poor experience & we will not return.

We stay here a lot and usually have no complaints, but this time it was not as great. The music on the pool speakers was so loud and it went on until after 9:30pm. It was being controlled by someone on staff because they would skip songs. We know this because we came down at 9pm to use the spa after it was empty from all the kids. The spa jets were broken, and there was no note telling us otherwise, so we got ready, came down, only to find that the jets didn’t work. The room (247) had blood splatter on the ceiling (from injection use, I know this because I work cleaning public parks in Las Vegas), had dirty red decorative pillows on the beds which I don’t think can even be cleaned properly, and I don’t think the room had been vacuumed in a bit because there was crumbs along the bed. When we checked out there was no vacuum noises although we saw tons of carts cleaning vacated rooms. On that note as well, the hotel maid barely knocked before just entering our room while we were getting ready. Did NOT appreciate that. They should knock LOUDLY, not with whatever they used to knock with that could barely be heard. I think it was a room key. She only waited maybe one second and then just came in. We had no time to reply because we didn’t know what the noise was. Not sure we’ll return. Used to love it here and have been coming here for years because it’s different and well located, but this kinda put us over the edge. Sucks.

The staff are very friendly, however, we had a horrible experience trying to get some help with a broken fridge in the room. We asked at least twice and no one ever showed up. Otherwise, a pleasant stay.

First of all we could not believe how much St. George has changed. We were there14 years ago and it was still a small town, now it is a huge city. The Red Lion was conveniently on a main road, close to restaurants, looked good when we arrived - they even offered breakfast with our stay. We were arriving late, so I wanted to call ahead to let the staff now that we were still coming. It was impossible to talk to the hotel. Only automated services and full mail was reachable - no live person to talk to. When we got there late the receptionist lady was nice, kind and helpful, also asked for $100 extra deposit per rooms - which is normal - I guess, she said they'd return the deposits next day when we leave. We checked out early on April 25. Today is May 9th -10 business days later ! -and the deposits still have not been returned to our account. I contacted them- only via e-mail - there is no other way to talk to this hotel chain - and they said the they "will follow up " on it. Also about breakfast: I suppose we did not read carefully about breakfast time. We arrived 5 min later and the server was already packing everything away, we got no breakfast, she said there was coffee at the reception area - which was true. The hotel itself is not bad, there is an indoor-outdoor pool, rooms are nice, clean and big - but these small inconveniences are the reason that I'd never go back.

We live nearby but my sister came from Indiana so me, my son, and my sister got a room for a night to have some swimming and mini golf fun. It was quiet at night, had a great breakfast, and the pool and amenities were so much fun!!!! The front desk ladies were kind and helpful. Even though we live in town I think we'd book another night sometime for a little staycation. We loved the place!

Here's a corrected version of your sentences: I stayed there alone for 5 days. The room looked somewhat worn out but clean. The staff were overall friendly. However, I would not come back here because I had to leave the hotel at 4:30 AM, which meant I had to go to bed early. The hotel lobby played loud music until 10 PM every single day, and I couldn't sleep. You will hear people's noise and music in your room.
