The staff and service is excellent, the views of the ocean beautiful, the pool is nice. the rooms are mediocre and the area around the hotel is a long way from anything, except the ocean.

Beautiful hotel but disappointing customer service
The hotel is very nice and I loved the decoration, however the customer service is not at the level of a 4 stars hotel and especially of a Marriot hotel. I purchased 2 bedrooms of 3 people each, when we arrived at the check in counter the gentleman kept on insisting we had 3 bedrooms, I showed him the voucher which specified 2 bedrooms. He kept on insisting and told me that the rooms were already paid for so why not to use it. I said ok and I split my family in 2 people for each room. After 30 minutes we were in the room, the reception called me to tell me that I had to pay for the 3rd room. I argued with the guy that he did confirm the 3 rooms were paid for, he admitted his mistake and he said he would have loose money from his salary if I stayed in the room and not pay for it. We had the option to leave 1 room and put an extra bed in each room. As the kids had already use the beds I accepted to stay in the third room as I felt bad for the guy and I paid the extra 80 Usd (the room with hotels.com cost me Usd 55 so much less that what they were charging me!!!). I told the guy that I was keeping and paying for the 3rd bedroom which he confirmed it was already paid and that in exchange he could offer a drink to compensate the mistake they did. I went downstairs to pay for the room and have a drink. The following morning at check out I was asked to pay for the drink!!! I had to explain the entire story to 3 different people (also the manager) and still I had to pay for it.

Die Einrichtung der Unterkunft entspricht nicht einem 5 Sterne Standard. Das Mobilar war teils abgenutzt oder nicht funtkionsfähig. Ein Föhn war nicht vorhanden, sondern musste erst angefragt werden, was eine ganze Weile gedauert hat. Das Personal im Restaurant und das Sicherheitspersonal war sehr freundlich, das Personal an der Rezeption leider wenig hilfreich und nicht sehr zuvorkommend. Gutes Frühstück, bis auf den Kaffee, der leider Nescafé war. Schöne Anlage nah am Strand, die umstehenden Gebäude sind leider teilweise in einem desolaten Zustand.

Ca ne peut pas etre un hotel 5 etoile.La chambre navait pas de refrigirateur, le coffre fort non plus.Fenetre cassè. Jai payé un supplément pour une chambre de 35m2 avec baignoire et vue sur mer , mais je n'ai rien eu de tout ca. Jai eu une douche, vue sur immeuble et rue , et jai eu une douche . Le pesonnel intervient 1h apres mes demandes...pas de connexion internet dans ma chambre .une catastrophe cet hotel

Cet hotel n'est vraiment pas à la hauteur des 5 etoiles attribuées. Je n'avais jamais rencontré un niveau de prestations si bas dans un hotel du groupe Mariott. J'ai découvert par la suite qu'il s'agit d'une franchise. Outre le retard lors du check-in, nous avons eu plusieurs désagréments dans les chambres (clim et lumières HS, lavabo bouché à l'arrivée,etc...). Cet hotel est a peine a la hauteur d'un hotel club 4 étoiles. N'y allez pas si vous recherchez une prestation soignée.

The reception is probably the most important part of a hotel experience. If you have a poor experience there it determines whether you will return to the hotel in the future. Let's just say the check in process was extremely unprofessional and off-putting. I felt like I was checking into the El Mouradi. Horrible and disrespectful staff.

Amazing Stay, Thank you Bessma for allowing us this fabulous and extremely relaxing stay, being as hospitable and professional as a Front Desk Manager is at the Marriott International Brand; Check in (Adel) and Check out (Karim) as smooth as a Bonvoy member should Expect. The property is gorgeous, the staff is exceptional, I wish I could take them all home with me. The breakfast is the largest I’ve ever witnessed at a hotel, with so many options to choose from. They spare nothing to service you. The pool is beautiful, spa services were delightful as well. Also the spa space is beautiful. The beach had security so I could leave my bag while I swam with no worries at all. I was sad I had to leave

On a était très déçu de notre séjour au Mariott ! Cela ne vaut pas les 5 étoiles ! La climatisation fonctionne à peine , mini bar hors service , le personnel a l’accueil est inactif.. Nul Nul !!! On nous a donné une salle de bain pour PMR avec une douche avec inondations quand on prends nos douches . Mis à part l’emplacement de l’hôtel nous vous le déconseillons

This hotel is not 5 stars. Bad experience!
This hotel is listed as 5 stars but I can give only 2 or 3. Check in was terrible I wait in line for one hour and a half. Internet conexión very bad. Room not too clean, No towels, no hair dryer. TV was not working. I called for towels for 4 times did not bring any until midnight. Broken chair in a room. Room facing a busy street very noisy. This was a terrible experience I will not to recommend anybody. I spoke with the manager, she did not do anything for me. I paid a very expensive rate for a bad experience. I thinks Hotels.com should do something to compensate this terrible experience. Thanks.

Beautiful seaview with balcony, the hotel is clean and the location is good. It's easy to get a taxi (costs less than TND3 to get to the shared taxi station for day trips to other cities). We stayed here for four nights. The only drawbacks of this hotel are the lack of meat in the buffet breakfast and no dryer in the room.
