Konaklama gayet güzel. Otel temiz , dekorasyon güzel şıkır şıkır, fakat otoparkın ücretli olması hoş değil. Yemekleri konusunda fikir sahibi değilim. Genel anlamda bizim deneyimimiz olumlu sonuçlandı. Teşekkürlerler.

Don't try it, money wasted for nothing
It was the worst hotel experience in my history of traveling, first they could not find my booking, then my assistant paid another room, then they still charged my card for the booking they could not find, after fighting them they say the money will be returned but if I said nothing they would not refund, the breakfast was terrible cold and with hair and scrambled eggs with eggshells in it, if this is a for star hotel, then I'll try book 8 star next time. I reported the complete incident to my friends in the government and we consider to recommend our organizations to stop using hotels. Com as well.

Dear Hans Maximus Cabrera,First of all I would like to thank you for being our gusts.I am really so sorry to hear this from you. Please accept my deep appologises for the inconvinience caused regarding the payment and thank you for sharing this important information with us, because the Guests experiences at the hotel and how they feel during their stay are of key importance to our team.I have already check the situation with my colleagues and understood that on the date of the check in arrives only Ms. Ana Valeanu, and my colleagues try to find her reservation in all extranets in our suppliers. They told me that asked the lady if the reservation not made of other name and she spoke with someone on the phone to check the situation, but unfortunately not confirmed the name of the person under the reservation's made. After that they offer her to made new reservation and accommodate her and she agree. Also they assured me that ask the lady to cancel her reservation that made throuhout at any supplier, not directly from the hotel, because we do not have right to made any changes from the reservations made through the supplier. Even more so when we did not know which is the reservation and not possible to us to inform the colleagues from expedia in this particular case.As we do not know which is reservation of the lady and our contarctual relationship require to mark the reservations as a no show on the next day of the arrival if some reservation not arrived, on the 12.10. we marked as a no show all the reservations that were not arrived on 11.10. but your reservation made throught expedia under the name of Hans Maximus Cabrerastill was still active and not cancelled or modify, we have to apply fee for the no show according to policy of each reservation. Let me remind you that we did not know till this moment that this reservation and reservation under the name of Ms. Ana Valeanu are the same. On 13.10 (Friday) after we applied the charge for the no show of the expedias reservation the guests not inform us for any missunderstanding. We received information from them on 14.10. (Saturday) and my colleagues from the reception desk informed me about the situation. I told them to made a reversal for the amount who was charge by mistake and refund this amount to the guest account right away. Let me inform you that unfortunately this procedure usually takes about 10 working days, but we made succesful right away.As for the breakfast I will take care personally to check your complains with my colleagues from kitchen and restaurant, because we did not have any other complainets untill this moment and this is also very important for us.Please accept my appologieses for these all missunderstanding.I hope to have opportunity, pleasure and chance to welcome you again at Astoria Grand Hotel and correct the wrong impression you were left with during your stay.If you have any questions or inquiries, I remain at your disposal at any time.Best regards,Simon Y

Mooi hotel goede ligging .vriendelijk personeel netjes. 1 min punt het ontbijt buffet waardeloos, om 8.30 geen variatie meer. Altijd hetzelfde. Eieren gebakken en roerei koud .koffie niet te drinken. Vanmorgen 10.10 vertrokken ontbijtbuffet om 7.30 was ok

Chose this hotel for the proximity to the main road out of Sofia - early morning departure meant we needed to avoid city traffic. Was perfect for that. Room was really nice. Comfy beds, great shower. All staff we interacted with were helpful and nice. Note: If you want access to the casino and are not Bulgarian, take a passport. They wont accept any other ID. Breakfast buffet was nice, good selection as you'd expect. Shame it was all luke warm. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel enorme ma male organizzato
L’albergo si presente bene, le camere sono praticamente nuove ed attrezzate di tutti i comfort purtroppo i lati negativi sono tanti… la colazione distribuita in modo da creare una fila lunga la mattina con presenza di gruppi di turisti. Essendo un albergo grandissimo si dovrebbero organizzare 2 tavoli con almeno 2 macchinette del caffè perché dopo essere stati in fila per mangiare si passa poi alla fila per una tazza di caffè. Internet al mio piano non funzionava anche dopo averlo segnalato alla reception. Si tratta di un hotel 4stelle senza nemmeno una piccola palestra. Non ci ritornerò.

Bisogna migliorare tantissimo
Abbiamo viaggiato in gruppo occupando più di una stanza. Tutti abbiamo riscontrato problemi con la connessione WI-FI che non è mai stato risolto. Per la policy dell’albergo viene richiesto di pagare il soggiorno in anticipo. L’albergo è metà per parecchi gruppi di turisti in transito, ci è capitato di non poter fare colazione a causa di una lunghissima fila, abbiamo preso un po’ di frutta da portare via ma abbiamo dovuto lasciare tutto perché altrimenti ci sarebbe stata addebitata una penale di 20€ per ogni stanza.

Nice hotel. Terrible service.
Nice hotel in a casino building. Confused and unhelpful staff. We arrived to check in. Although they could see our booking in the system, they could not give us a room until something ? happened in the system. We couldn’t get our room for 4 hours. After an hour, we eventually left to see the city. There was no apology, no offer of anything to compensate - not even a coffee. It was odd and rude and very off-putting.

Hotels.com tell you about 50 levas credit for the casino PER NIGHT PER ROOM, thats is NO valid or TRUE is a CHEATING ADVERTISEMENT...AWARE !!! We stay more than a week and only received 1 voucher. SHAME ON THIS PEOPLE.

Huge hotel. My room was renovated , in excellent condition, the place seemed very clean overall, breakfast was also good . The guy who “helped” me with my bag was a bit too pushy with tips , but I had no coins anyway as I try be cashless.
