Daniel, you CLEARLY didn't read the house information sheet, and all your allegations are completely false. I reached out to you several times upon your arrival, but never got a response. The dog hair was from your 3 dogs that were not listed on the reservation. This would have been $15/night per pet resulting in an additional $450 which should have been paid at booking. You left the outdoor TV cover off during your entire stay and we had multiple rain events which damaged the TV. You totally trashed the house in every room, including dirty dishes piled high in the sink, and moved TVs and furniture throughout the house and didn't put them back where they belong. We have NEVER charged anyone their full deposit but had no choice due to the pet fees not paid, TV damage, and the additional cleaning fee incurred by your pets and very poor housekeeping. I find it ironic that we have an almost perfect 5 star rating and all of our guests comment on how nice the house is and host communication. I gave you a 1 star rating after looking at the house the day of your departure and would have given you a negative star rating if possible. Guests like you are not welcome back to our home and I feel sorry for the next host that you rent a home from.

Hi David, I'm sorry that your that your experience at our home wasn't as you expected. However, many of your allegations are simply not true. Evidently, you and your group did not read the house information sheet. If anything was not acceptable upon your arrival it clearly states at the very top of the information sheet to contact me directly, which you did not. Since I didnt hear from you, I assumed everything is in order. I explained to one of your guests about the soft spots on the deck and had those clearly marked with black paint. I also told him that I was replacing them as soon as the house wasn't booked for a couple days. I am going to stain the deck once I do the repairs. Evidently, he didn't relay this information to you. We do have a professional cleaning staff and I only take care of the outdoors area. I was blowing off the spring tree foliage upon your early arrival. Not sure what inside painting your talking about and what chairs are broken, but I will look into this further. Once again as stated in the information sheet, we provide dishwasher detergent and there was ample enough under the kitchen sink upon your arrival and we do not provide laundry detergent. All of the TV's have the remotes in the rooms that the TV's are located in and are for that specific TV. I did not appreciate you placing all the remotes on a table in the living room, this caused me a lot of time trying to figure out which TV each remote went to. However, I am going to label each remote to avoid future issues. TV's are Smart TV's but some people don't understand how to use them. We provide games, kids books and yes even a BIBLE for our guests. Sorry this was offensive to you. Liquor bottles are for decoration only and do not contain alcohol. Did you assume we were providing booze for you as well? Once again, most of these alleged issues would have been resolved if you would have read the house information sheet and contacted me. I find it ironic that out of over 150 guests that have stayed at our home, we have have a 4.95 star rating.
