Et godt sted lige i smørhullet af SF
Et meget lille værelse med 2 mindre senge. Fantastisk beliggenhed i smørhullet og kun ca 2-300 m fra Powel Station, som man kan køre direkte til fra lufthavnen med Bart (metro). Der var så man kan sove og tage et bad, men heller ikke mere. Ingen kaffemaskine, ingen ismaskine etc

Recently renovated, this hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable, and everything worked. Basic rooms with fan, radiator, and window that opened for temperature control. Free WiFi, basic free TV channels, no bath, room on the smaller side (but not tiny, still room to move arround). Fruit, iced water, coffee, and a large selection of teas available near the lobby. No daily housekeeping, which suited us fine, but you can ask them to remove rubbish or replace towels if needed. Great location near Union Square, Macy's, cable car just outside, other public transport (buses, trains, trams) only a few steps away. Had a few issues with the card not allowing us entry to our room, but quickly resolved by staff. Bathroom floor constantly wet near shower, which is starting to damage new floor and skirting boards - a design fault that staff have been made aware of, will not affect your stay. We were in room 609, which is angled to face another guests window, so potential privacy issues - just remember to shut the blind. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again, great value property.

Liked that it’s on one of the cable car routes. Has a clean and modern feel. Nice job on the restomod. Most hotels like this don’t have parking or breakfast. Once i wrapped my head around that, then i really appreciated the property. We walked most everywhere in the area. Really nice restaurants on powell st like Loris Diner, Sears Fine Food, Mels Drive in isn’t very far. Cheesecake Factory is around the corner. SF doesn’t have a lot of franchise fast food but there is a mcdonalds, burger king and starbucks nearby. We preferred the local restaurants. Walgreen’s pharmacy is nearby too. Walked to market street and took the F train to the Ferry building and fisherman’s wharf. Then U can take the 28 bus route on North Point st to the Goldengate Bridge. There’s two different 28 routes so get the one back to the wharf when you go back. I bought day passes on the Muni App but no one checked it. Only showed it once on the cable car.

This hotel is an absolute hidden gem. Very underrated. Amazing location and very cheap for the location and overall quality of this hotel. We’d definitely come back!

Good location to explore San Fran. Room was clean. While room was small the washroom had ample space. No air conditioning, but we were there in May so an open window kept temperature cool.

Simple but clean room. I personally didn't mind the sound of the cable cars from my front facing room over Powell Street, but other people may want to ask for a room facing a different direction if looking for something quieter. The complimentary soda water, coffee, tea, and oranges were a really nice touch. I'd definitely stay again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived in the morning and they were able to check us in before the check in time. I like the self-check process. Main Entrance door was locked at all times, so I felt safe. I like that our room had floor vs carpet. Overall the room was clean. My cons were the room being way too small and it felt claustrophobic. It also didn’t have air conditioning it just had a fan. The room felt hot regardless of the fan.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Stratford! They were very accommodating in allowing me to check in early and very attentive in making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. 10/10 would recommend!

The location is excellent. You can be at the cable car, BART, or Muni in under a minute. For it being in the center of everything, the hotel seemed pretty quiet. My room was small, but I could tell that it seemed recently renovated. Totally suitable for a single traveler. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel is nice and clean, with that being said, the amenities are non-existent. Called front desk to ask for something for my room, never got an answer. House keeping arrives at 8 "they" make the coffee, don't expect anything before then. I stayed for 3 nights. Firsts morning went down to get coffee around 6;45, coffee was luke warm, I was not gonna complain about warm coffee but thought it was odd that coffee was warm so early in the morning (now I realize it was From the night before) and no creamer, asked front desk if I could get some creamer, front said wouldn't be ready until after 8. Okaaayy? Second morning went down 8:10-no coffee said it be about 10 mins. Okay sat down waited for another 15 house keeping girl rushing in with a grocery bag, full of oranges (only fruit they offer) and a big carton of creamer. Left, came back with a cart of coffee, and began refilling stir sticks, and coffee station necessities. Okay we're good Third and final morning came down 8:10, no coffee, front desk said be ready at 8:45?? Irritated I went across the street to Starbucks, came back 10 mins later 8:20 Coffee was there, so frustrating! How hard is it for front desk to make coffee? Even old hotels know to have coffee station available. 3ipads for self-checking. They do nothing! Also, No parking, payed almost $150 ($45) per day to park in parking garage. Stayed 3 nights, would never stay again!! Don’t let pictures fool you!

I should have looked more into the hotel but there is NO AC in the building and rooms. The rooms are literal shoe boxes.

Great choice! We flew in from Oakland, and caught BART from the airport to San Francisco. The hotel was walking distance from the Powell St BART station, and to the trolly. The location was excellent, as we were able to walk to several eateries, and were only 1 block from the hop-on-hop-off bus stop. If you don't mind walking, China town and little Italy aren't far away. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel was wuite peaceful. The staff was kind and very accommodating. We were able to communicate all concerns via text, with an immediate response. Based on the location, price, convenience and quality of thebroom, I would Highly recommend The Stratford Hotel, and would definitely stay again!

Had a great stay at the Stratford. Location was great, only hiccup is that they don't have luggage storage if you arrive early or leave later in the day. They refer you across the street to store your bags for $8 a day. I didn't mind, but would have been nice to leave bag with the hotel. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place.

Its a great place for the price. The rooms feel new and were clean. The lobby was nice and the staff were nice. Loved the free coffee in the lobby. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay near Union Square for a low price point!

The room was so nice. Clean and updated. Very simple and minimal. Very comfy bed. Good thermostat adjustments. The only qualm i had and its not a big one. Was the shower watwr would come out when i was showering and the bath mat towel was drenched by the end. Also found some trash under the bed. Haha. But i would highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely stay there again.

L’ Hôtel est bien situé au centre ville. On y accède facilement avec tous les moyens de transport. Les réceptionnistes sont très polis et très accueillant et à tes petits soins, même quand tu ne parles pas l’anglais. Ma chambre était propre. Egalement accès facile à tous les centres commerciaux et il existe des restaurants non loin de l’hôtel. La propreté du hall au 8ème étage est à revoir.
