A lovely, clean home with friendly & helpful hosts
My stay was great. The room was very clean and very well equipped. I was able to cook up a small egg and toast breakfast in the kitchenette using groceries provided by the hosts. It was quiet, easy temperature controls, just great stuff overall.

This casita was very comfortable, the bed was comfy, the host had stocked the refrigerator with milk, apple and orange juice, bagels, bread and eggs along with other condiments. The kitchen area was nice and stocked very well with pots and pans and all the utensils a coffee pot, toaster and hot water pot, coffee and creamer. Also a variety of cereals. We were able to use the outside patios, which were very nice. We met the host and her husband and they were very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend staying at this place when you are in the Pueblo area. We will definitely look to book again when the need arises.

Perfect, peaceful and relaxing Casita
2nd time we stayed there. It's clean, very well equipped with very nice items to use. Comfortable bed, shower, nice kitchen. Relaxing to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the hummingbirds. Monica is an excellent host.

Reuben and Monica have a fantastic establishment here. My family and I live In Gunnison, Colorado and we like to visit Pueblo every now and then for the restaurants and shopping. I was always a bit hesitant because of staying in a hotel room that's loud, and somewhat clean. So, my wife and I found this gem and I will NEVER stay in another Pueblo hotel ever again. This is the place to stay if you are looking to visit Pueblo It is very clean and quiet. The decor is very original and they have everything you might need to cook a nice dinner. The beds are super comfortable and the bathroom is very spacious. We loved the rain shower and the fact that there was a washer and dryer. No ironing my shirts from the suitcase. We never messed with the TV so I don't know about that. The internet was acceptable, but for what I do for work (stock market) I needed something a little faster. That being said, we were on vacation and the internet wasn't a big priority. What really stood out to us was how personable and kind Monica and her husband Rueben are. And the very lovely dog, Moose. I loved that girl instantly. You can't go wrong by staying here and meeting these wonderful people. Their rental is absolutely worth it. My family and I will continue to stay and visit this gem as long as it is open for rental.

Perfect place to stay for Pueblo visit
I stayed at this property for 4 nights with my wife, 2 kids, and mother in law. It is a fantastic and peaceful location in Pueblo West, just a stone's throw from Pueblo proper. The house is clean and modern (I loved the massive rain-style shower setup!). The backyard area is great for stargazing, stormgazing, and critter-gazing, with a propane grill at the ready for your nightly bbq. Walk to the end of the driveway at dusk to see an incredible sunset. Monica and Ruben are fantastic and responsive hosts, and their dog Moose is very friendly indeed! I highly recommend this place.

Lovely home, nice views, nice people
Great views pulling in, wonderfully decorated home, rooms were perfect to separate kids, yards were great for kids to go out and pet the dog as the owner was friendly and nice to talk with. Will plan on staying again on our next adventure that way.

AWESOME!!
What a wonderful place to stay! Fun and eclectic decor! Comfy beds! Everything we needed for our stay which included two teenage boys! Enjoyed coffee on their covered porch every morning looking at all the beautiful flowers and gorgeous mountains. Loved being able to pet and love on their granddog, Moose. Thanks, Monica and Reuben!

Property Perfection
This casita in Pueblo is a must for couples or small families. We ourselves were camping at Lake Pueblo and my older parents would have struggled with that. So, found this gem! The pictures do not do it justice. The entire property is a delight for the eyes and spirit! Monica is both welcoming and more than helpful. She was so kind and thoughtful in all the things provided within the casita and upon arrival. Monica made my parents feel both welcome and comfortable. She helped them with anything they needed. Everything in the rental is well thought out and there is nothing you are left wanting. The little kitchenette is well appointed. Thoughtful snacks are provided along with some helpful necessities you may have forgotten. Same in the bathroom. Beds are extra comfortable my mom said. The yard is just beautiful! And parking is off the street. I was very grateful to have found this wonderful home and for Monica’s kindness. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in Pueblo, this place is amazing! Many thanks Monica! Regards, Shannon

My wife and I had a wonderful experience in Pueblo West The home was conveniently located and the home was spacious clean and comfortable Our hosts provided a wonderful place for our visit with family and friends and let me tell you that in the 5 years of locations similar to our Pueblo West retreat we have never encountered a home that provided Some daily essentials until your got to a store and bathroom amenities that were more than sufficient Did I say bathroom. Wow it was super spacious and very nice We had to leave 2 days early for a family emergency and were so sad to leave Thank you to our hosts. We very much enjoyed our stay

Very impressed with this quiet stay. What can one say. This like having a relaxing resort with the best of all of what you want . Plenty of quiet space with all the best from great beds, kitchen with all that what one could need to spa like bath with washer and dryer . Host are great and hope to visit again....

Thanks for your kind words! I have many 1 night stays. Many come in late and leave early. Having some basic breakfast items gets them on their way quicker and maybe gives them some extra pillow time!

Great stay after day in the car
Great stay after traveling in car all day for first day of vacation. Location was just as described and very very clean. Host suggested a hike near house that had great views. Kitchen was very well equipped. We made dinner and breakfast in unit so we could just relax. I would definitely book again if in the area.

It was very sunny in the main room. Our daughter was woken up by the sun every morning. That’s not our usual time to get up. Other that it was very pleasant. We had to sleep in the main room because of the king bed.

All the comforts of home!
The Hummingbird Casita is just adorable! It’s also comfortable and quite spacious. The kitchenette is stocked with all appliances and everything you’d need/want for breakfast and more. Great bed, linens, towels, etc. Plus smart tv, Amazon Dot and iPhone wireless charger. We look forward to returning with our boat and enjoying beautiful Lake Pueblo once again. Nice place worthy of a good rating. Accessible through main house by ramp. Also accessible with assistance over small steps. Very accessible bathroom. Very nice furnishings and fixtures. Only concerns were: Expired food in refrigerator and No high window shades in outer sleeping area made sleeping difficult past early sunrise.

A gem!
We absolutely loved staying at this property. We came in late due to a long day of driving, and the host was up to greet us and tell us about the complimentary breakfast. The property was adorable and so clean! We all said the rain shower head was a dream after a long day of hiking and the water stayed hot for our entire family to shower. This hostess definitely pays attention to details and everything was perfect. We all wished our stay was longer than one short night! Thank you for your hospitality.

This was our first experience with a vacation rental, and we could not have asked for a better choice. The rental was amazing. It was attached to the main house, but you would have never known once you were inside. I highly recommend this place!

Excellent and beautiful little retreat
We will definitely be coming back! The host was always available to contact and was even there to great us when we arrived. Very modern and clean. The amenities were also amazing! We made waffles the morning we left with the provided food. We loved our stay!

Outstanding!
This was one of the most well decorated and comfortable places we have ever stayed! It was all the comforts of home with all the little extra's (in case you forgot something) and chocolate included :) The location was ideal for us. We really enjoyed being able to sit on the covered patio. If you are looking for privacy this is the place! It was very clean and the shower was amazing! Thanks again Monica! We also enjoyed chatting with Rubin and getting to meet Moose (the dog) would definitely stay here again!

Visit Friend in Pueblo West
My husband and I were coming through town to see a friend. We found this little jewel. The space is absolutely darling and so well appointed. We had been traveling all week and had all our luggage, but I honestly think someone could stay there without bringing anything but clothes! The fridge was stocked, the cabinets in the kitchen were full for cooking, the bathroom had everything you need, and there's even a washer and dryer. The casita is connected to the house, but there is a privacy fence in the back between this space and the homeowner's space for a private feeling. I'd HIGHLY recommend this space for anyone wanting to be close to the Reservoir or to Pueblo West.

Cute and Comfy!
What a gem! This property was very welcoming and well-kept! The whole space had fun lawn/garden decor that really made it feel very homey. Upon entrance, the main room was brightly decorated and inviting. It was such a comfortable space after having been on the road all day. The walk-in shower with an oversized rainfall shower head was heaven! Our host definitely has thought of those little home-away-from-home comforts. We only stayed one night, but found ourselves pledging that we would look for this home again on any future trips! We highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy, comfortable stay.

Short vacation
We traveled to Colorado for a wedding in a city near this listing and we were fortunate enough to find this place! Michelle the host was awesome. She provided snacks and all kinds of basic ingredients for food. We were able to make waffles for breakfast one day because she had the ingredients and the waffle maker! We had a 1 year old with us that can sometimes get a little loud and Michelle was very understanding and even had a pack n play available in case we wanted to use it. It was a clean space and we felt very safe. It's it a beautiful area and just down the road from the pueblo reservoir, which is where we watched a beautiful sunset one night! Michelle had things posted on the walls so we could easily contact her or have our basic questions answered. We also got to meet her dog moose, which our little baby just loved! All in all it was a perfect place for our little family to stay and I would absolutely stay there again!!!

Perfect CO cottage
We stayed in Pueblo overnight on our way into Steamboat Springs. This listing was so cozy and comfortable! It had all the creature comforts you could want, and then some! Monica, our host, came over and introduced herself and gave us a little tour. She invited us onto the welcoming back porch and helped us figure out dinner options. There were plenty of towels, plenty of dishes, plenty of supplies available for us to make an easy supper, enjoy the evening, and get a good nights rest before we finished our trip the next morning. It was spotlessly clean, and had air-conditioning! I highly recommend this listing.

Upon writing this review the Hummingbird Casita has a total of 74 reviews with all 5 star ratings. Make this one 75! Upon arrival Monica promptly introduced herself and welcomed us into what is easily recognized as an extension of her own home. We spent our days in the area from sun up to sun down exploring everything we possibly could within what seemed like 100 miles. Upon return it was so nice to have such a welcoming and relaxing place to rest! Monica has thought of everything a guest could possibly need and then some. Thank you for welcoming us and proving such a wonderful place! Very much appreciated!

Absolutely Wonderful!
This property is easy to find, in a good quiet area and still close to stores/restaurants however you won't need restaurants since you can cook here. It is clean, fresh and very well decorated. My family LOVED the shower. Everything was very comfortable, the host was amazing with our need for no chemical fragrances and was wonderful with our disabilities. We'll be staying any time we come to town.

Mothers comfort zone
Absolutely in love with this location. It felt like an extension of Monica’s home. Every detail was in order and anything you needed was close at hand. We recommend taking advantage of the cozy seating outside with the killer view. When walking through the door you are greeted with a candy dish, snack goodies, and cold water in the fridge. The beds are amazing, and the decor feels like home. My mother told me to just leave her there she loved it so much. Highly recommend.

Five-star stay!
My husband and I stayed for one night on our way to Breckenridge. Monica had stocked the place with all of the essentials plus everything you need to cook breakfast in the morning from eggs to delicious coffee. I appreciate all of the extras Monica provided and will always stay with her when in the area!
