Stunning Mountain Suite on Seven Acres at Sundance

Welcome to Nirvana Mountain rental at Sundance, Utah. This romantic apartment listing is located 0.4 miles from Sundance Mountain Resort. This ski destination rental is located on seven acres with private snowshoeing on a gorgeous 0.5 mile hiking trail. May-Oct featuring private extras such as: pickleball/basketball court, outside living room, fire pit, large yard, zip line (extra fee), etc. Only 15 minutes from Provo and Orem. Winter conditions exist Dec-Mar; AWD and good tires are required.

This one-bedroom suite offers a king-size bed, queen sofa-sleeper, bathroom with shower, kitchenette, coffee and tea, Weber Genesis II barbecue, living room, covered porch, picnic area, 58" Samsung TV with NetFlix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu.

Spectacular views from the hiking trail & spring/river on the property. Extremely comfortable and beautiful suite, & excellent communication with the host. We saw deer at night, super peaceful & beautiful, we want to go back already!

Delightful ground level getaway
The communication with this owner was terrific as he met me upon checkin to help guide me to parking area for the apartment. It was a snowy afternoon so some of the markers to access the parking were not as obvious to me. His help was great and his documentation and email had all of the information I needed to enjoy my time there. The apartment itself is charming with an upgraded feel in the Sundance area. The shower is lovely and quite the experience as are the heated towels. There is attention to detail here that I haven’t seen from other properties. As an overnight staycation it was perfect, but I would be excited to visit for a longer stay in future to take advantage of some of the additional amenities as well as enjoy more of what the area has to offer.

Cozy Space Close to Sundance
My husband and I stayed in this space given it's proximity to Sundance. It's so close (maybe a 2m drive if that). It was really easy to get to. I read the review mentioning the driveway and wasn't sure what to expect. If you are used to driving in snow, it shouldn't be a problem. That said, even if you aren't used to driving in the snow, if you follow the instructions the host sends, you'll be fine. It was absolutely charming walking into the space, and is decorated very cute. It's very clean and was more spacious than I anticipated. It was truly very cozy, and I can tell the host takes great care to make sure it's a comfortable experience for guests. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Perfect spot

Perfect Getaway
The property is in a great location. You can relax in the beautiful outdoors or there is plenty to do if you want more adventure. The home is beautifully decorated and the owners had small touches throughout and had everything we needed. We loved staying here and would definitely come again.

Cozy and Comfortable
We loved staying up in this cute cabin in Sundance. The most comfortable bed ever! Super clean! If you are wanting to cook full meals while you are there, just know that there is only a microwave and toaster oven to cook with. We were there for a graduation and knew we’d be eating out a lot so it wasn’t a problem. I would definitely recommend !

Perfection!
According to the all-knowing Wikipedia, Nirvana is a state of perfect quietude, freedom and the highest level of happiness -- and our stay at Nirvana Mountain was all of this and more. The property has a private drive with a remote controlled gate and there are plenty of places to park, including a covered spot. The front porch has a big bench for sitting on and we did it often, looking out over the expansive grass yard. There’s also a little tree-shrouded area with a dinner table, where we enjoyed several meals. The yard has a storage container stocked with toys, including frisbees, a bow and arrows, a croquet set. The property also has a short (maybe mile-long & steep) hike. It’s part of a zip-line course they’ve created there. My son got a chance to ride through the trees and loved it! A super short walk to the southern part of the property is an amazing basketball/tennis court. Again, all the toys. And there’s a place to sit right next to the river. Great spot for meditation. The inside of the apartment was equally lovely. The couch becomes a pull-out bed and the master bedroom is comfortable and spacious. We had 5 adults, and it was a little tight for us, but we made do. The bathroom is beautiful and stocked with anything you might need, from floss to tampons. Also stocked -- the kitchen. We loved that the cupboards contained basics, like olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper and more. That made eating-in so easy and effortless. There is no dishwasher and no stovetop/oven. We washed our own dishes and the owners have several different cooking apparatuses, including a hot plate, a microwave, and a grill on the front porch. The cupboards are stocked with other appliances too. Oh, and on top of the microwave, the owners left out microwave popcorn bags! One evening, we asked the owners about firewood so we could make s’mores, fully intending to get our supplies. They set up the firepit completely (wood, paper, firestarter) and brought down a tray of Hershey bars, graham crackers and marshmallows. Talk about service! A couple things to know: Nirvana Mountain is not actually on the Sundance property, but directly next door. That said, you have to drive to Sundance if you want to go hiking or take the ski lift. The road from Nirvana Mountain to Sundance is too narrow and dangerous to walk it. Also, the owners live on the property in the house directly above the apartment. Great scenery, activities right on the property, nice and helpful manager, very nice decor. No oven or full stovetop - there is a toaster oven and on a portable burner. It was a nice place to stay with daughter and granddaughters to attend the Sundance summer outdoor theater.
