This cabin boasts floor-to-ceiling windows for breathtaking views of nature. Take advantage of the detached garage with cozy loft above, perfect for a private workspace or additional sleeping space. WIth the national forest just steps away, you'll have endless opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and wildlife viewing. Located just a few miles down the road from Lynx Lake.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The cabin is in the mountains and has a dirt road that leads to it. Most times of year it is very easy travelling. During winter a 4x4 or AWD is recommended due to snow/ice. Travel safely!

Great family weekend
We couldn't have been happier with the cabin for our family weekend. We spent most of the time on the porch enjoying the beautiful views and weather. The only thing I would mention, is if you're going to list the loft as a sleeping space, it should actually be a finished "room". There was no bedding or furniture in it, other than a small futon. Other than that, we loved it!

Awesome !!
21 days out of the summer valley Arizona heat. Adult grandkids came for a few days, played corn hole, hiked, and fished Lynx Lake. It was so relaxing to do nothing, with doors and windows open. We highly recommend this place and the host/owner is very accommodating.

Great Stay in the Pines
My husband and I along with 2 friends stayed recently. The cabin is located in a beautiful area of Prescott. Cabin has plenty of room for 4 adults. We enjoyed the wrap around deck. Beds were comfortable and very clean. I recommend staying here.

I just have to let you know the cabin wasn’t clean very well the microwave was dirty inside the air conditioner doesn’t work and the refrigerator is starting to make noise And where do all the moths come from? There were bugs all over that cabin, but we did the best for cleaning when we got there other than that it was a good trip thank you.

Gals trip 2024
Beautiful cabin, only one other cabin near by. Property was clean and plenty of amenities. Perfect for our girls getaway. We did yoga on the deck and spent the day at Lynx Lake. The lake is a short 10 minute drive. The lake is beautiful and peaceful and the 2.5 mile loop walk around the lake is a must. I would recommend this cabin to anyone, and will likely stay here again.

Wonderful getaway
We got there and it had started snowing making the drive to the cabin beautiful! The owner shoveled the driveway and walk before we got there making it easy to get in and out. The last part of the road was a little rough but we took it slow and with a 2 wheel drive SUV made it easily. Cabin was clean and great place to stay. Saw deer on the drive, a group of turkeys walked right by the porch one afternoon. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone wnat to fet away to the woods!

Had a great time. House was clean and just like photos. Very private with good amenities and the owner kindly furnished some snacks and water. Quiet and beautiful wooded location. Good value. Recommended. Note: definitely have a 4 wheel drive or at least a vehicle with good ground clearance for the last mile or so of road to the house.

Squirrels in the Trees
The Fox and the Owl is beautiful place to stay. It is a good drive to Prescott, close to Lynx La Lake. The property manger was responsive and had specific directions for how to get there as well as using the wood burning stove. We were excited to still see snow on the ground at the cabin but 60 degree weather. We enjoyed the squirrels every morning. I would return again.

Mountainside cabin amongst the trees
We had reserved this cabin for a larger group, but due to some unforeseen events, my husband and I had the cabin to ourselves. We enjoyed watching the sunrise on the balcony. We prepped and cooked several meals and the kitchen was fully stocked.

Great place!
We spent many hours sitting on the deck enjoying the cool weather and the scenery. House was clean, well stocked and the perfect size for two couples. I recommend it highly! The owner James was sweet and helpful . You can tell that it’s important to him that you enjoy your stay.

Amazing Experience
Our stay at the Fox and Owl vacation rental was such a great experience. The property was very clean and beautifully designed. It is very secluded and is located in a gorgeous natural forest which was a pure bliss for nature lovers like ourselves. We truly enjoyed the views and smells around the area. The location was also great. Very close to the lake which allowed us to spend the day fishing and exploring the nature around Prescott. The owner was available and very accommodating. Great communication and wonderful customer service! Thank you Sir for your hospitality!

Amazing
We brought our 3 kids and dog out to the cabin. They described it as a beautiful cabin with comfortable bedding. We brought our own groceries and enjoyed home cooked meals out on the spacious patio. Views were amazing and we even got to see some of the wildlife! This was as cozy as being home except we were surrounded by tall swaying trees and amazing weather.
