This location was convenient for a conference however there seems to be a massive leak problem at the hotel and the whole place was musty and moldy once you got out of the lobby. They had dehumidifiers and fans in some of the hallways when we first arrived. The signage was also confusing and the fitness center was difficult to find. The price was reasonable, and the room was clean.

Room space was good, bathrooms were very small but well appointed. Needed more counter or shelf space in bathroom. A little further from colleges than listed on site but still a good location and experience.

I would definitely recommend Holiday Inn Hotel in Poukeepsie area. Ms Linda from the restaurant is superb in customer service. She is friendly and aproachable. I would love checking-in again at this Hotel probably in July.

Lobby smelled like cat urine. Was charged more for one night of stay than the other and not informed. Placed in the basement floor because we wanted side by side rooms, no other rooms available. I paid more for these rooms than I have in NY City so expected better. The rooms were OK although there was mildew present in Room 129, as part of the group we were with. There was no outlet in the bathroom to plug in the hair dryer, and no other near a mirror in the room that worked. Obvious that all rooms need a cosmetic facelift. Awakened by a fire alarm and other guests. Received a letter under the door the first night not to open bathroom door during a shower, it would set off a fire alarm. On a positive note, when complained about children running up and down the hall and screaming, the staff took care of it right away. Would be wonderful if there was more than a one night stay the coffee would be replenished. Some of the outlets did not work for charging devices. No other interaction with staff.

First basement room key didn't work. Next room. in the moldy basement worked. Domestice disturbance in the neighboring room on Saturday night went on for two hours or more - night manager claimed the next day she didn't hear anything - woman screaming get out for two hours - doors slamming peoip[le coming and going from basement door. Frightening - tried to call the front desist phone in the room didn't work, called on my cell night manager said she'd look into, Next am very defensive said she heard nothing on going down into the basement briefly - I had to explain it wasn't about what she didn't hear, but the conditions of the room they rented to me. - still remain very defensive nearly angry - I explained I wasn't in the habit of making up domestic disturbance takes. Very awful experience e woill never rent from Holiday inn or Expedia again. Period shabby p[lace - shabbier treatment - not professional or decent in any way.

Back in the area.
This was my second time at this hotel. The professionalism and politeness of all staff members is even better than before, although, I found it already very good. I stayed in a room that had two full-sized beds, and I only slept in the one closest to the window, but I found it incredibly comfortable.

The room we had smell liked cigarettes. The bathroom didn’t have any towels or anything. We contacted the front desk about it and the guy said unfortunately there is nothing he can do about it to contact management and hanged up the phone. The heat and air didn’t work
