Rude and grumpy staff. Rooms are boring and basic. No cups for water in the bathroom. Breakfast gave it an extra star. Parking is complicated. I will never stay at Holiday Inn Express again.

Room was not vacuumed prior to our arrival. There was toothpaste on the bathroom floor. The shower had mold in it. The shower doors had molding that was coming off and were missing bottom tracks.

We found a half moldy rotten banana in the ice bucket. They only gave us one bath towel. Wifi was not working the entire time. The blinds are really thin so you cannot darken the room in the morning. The people at the front desk who had to deal with these problems were actually very nice and tried hard. There are a couple fun restaurants within walking distance. PNC Field is close by.

We were in town for the baseball game and the location could not have been better!!! Walking distance to everywhere we wanted to be!! The majority of the staff encountered was very friendly with the exception of the gentleman working the reception desk when we first arrived. The manager walked over and helped me and she was great. Overall perfect location and we will keep it high on our list for future visits!

Great spot in Pittsburgh - very walkable. Staff nice. Exercise room needs some work (not all machines operable) Pool is small but it was perfect for my needs.

I was unknowingly charged 100.00 extra stating it was a hold when actually it came right out of my account as well as they took the room rate on top of it which i wanted to use cash but was rudely informed” its not thier problem take it up with my bank heres your reciept have a nice day sir” while the gentleman waiting on me for checkout was playing games on his phone and not even looking at me ahe spoke ignorantly. Also the indoor pool was not useable which was unknown and a big let down the room was clean soap dispenser in shower was empty luckily brought my own toiletries still awaiting my 100.00 to be refunded to my account as well .

On the good side: it was well designed, contemporary, and convenient to the places we were visiting. On the downside: the bathroom was not ventilated with and exhaust, the shower floor was dangerously slippery, and the hair dryer did not work.
