Loved the staff! The rooms were spacious, the cleaning absolutely outstanding and the gym is better than one could possible expect from a hotel gym. Top grade all around. However, do not get breakfast here as it's not the best. I did it for time issues and was almost shocked at the low quality. But, nevermind, there are places all over so no problem! Also, the bar is not cozy, but again... plenty of other local bars in the area.

Familie ophold i New York
Vi er en familie på 4 og havde booket et familieværelse med to dobbeltsenge i en uge. Værelset var lidt lille, med næsten ingen plads til bagage/tøj, men ellers ok. Men der var ikke badehåndklæder nok, vi gik ned og bad om ekstra dagen efter vi ankom, de blev så fjernet af rengøringen næste morgen, så vi bad endnu en gang om flere, og de blev endnu en gang fjernet af rengøringen. Da vi bad om ekstra tredje gang, fik vi ti-tolv badehåndklæder og en bunke små håndklæder. Om det var fordi de ikke forstod at rengøringen tog dem om morgenen, og derfor syntes vi var fjollede, eller om det var deres måde at undskylde på, ved jeg ikke, men det var i hvert fald træls, at de ikke forstod, at 4 gæster skal bruge 4 badehåndklæder.

When I checked in and went up to my room and as I was walking towards my room I noticed that the room door was not closed all the way. I sloy pusjed the door open. I did not go in, I just said "hello" and no one answered. I did not go inside. I went back to the feont desk and asked the front desk age t to give me another room. I told her my room door was open. She said "oh that's fine, they just cleaned the room". I said no, that's not fine, this is not safe. I have never been to a hotel where I'm going to check into my hotel room and the door is open. I don't know who is in there. Two days later, I wanted to use my breakfast voucher so I went downstairs to have breakfast. I sat at the bar counter and ordered an omelet. 20 minutes go by and I don't have my food. I waited five more minutes and a guest cones up to the bar and was inquiring with the server about his food. He said that he had somewhere to go and needed his food and if it is not ready to cancel his order. The server was very rude to him and told him that she don't know what to tell him, they have one cook " do you want to cancel?" She said. At this point I srill did not have my food and I could no longer wait and I left. To make matters even worse, the peole that checked into the room next to me and were so lound and playing music at 5 am. A called the desk and complained.

Have stayed here a couple of times now and will return again. Very nice, modern hotel; clean, recently remodeled, great bathroom w/ waking shower and lots of room, big TV and nice space in the room. Two people don't have to crawl all over one another to get around in the room.

Great location - a 5 min walk from Grand Central and easy walk to 5th Avenue and Broadway. Modern super clean rooms - big enough for 2 people with big suitcases. Breakfast is cooked to order (vs buffet or light continental) which makes for a nice change when you get it included in your room rate.

My experience at the EVEN hotel was very bad. The biggest issue was the unprofessionalism of the staff and the bad customer service. Upon our arrival, the cooler in our room wasn't functioning, which was concerning as we needed it to store medication and beverages. Despite notifying the front desk, we were assured that the cooler would be fixed. However, upon returning to the hotel later, we found the issue unresolved. It took multiple calls and an additional 20-minute wait for maintenance to finally address the problem. On the third day, a fuse in our room malfunctioned, resulting in a complete loss of electricity. Despite our complaints, the issue remained unresolved until the following day. Furthermore, the valet parking staff demonstrated a shocking level of rudeness and unprofessionalism. Not only were we initially given incorrect pricing information upon booking, but the staff's demeanor was consistently dismissive and disrespectful throughout our interactions. During breakfast, we were met with chaos in the kitchen, with staff members audibly arguing and displaying clear dysfunction. Our order was botched, and to add insult to injury, the food served made my father ill for the following day. When we brought these issues to the attention of the hotel manager, the response was wholly inadequate. We were offered a mere $50 fee waiver from our bill. It's evident that the hotel failed to conduct proper inspections of our room prior to our check-in.

2e fois pour nous dans cet hotel et toujours satisfait. L’emplacement très pratique proche de Gare Central. Attention la chambre n’est pas grande! Les lits non plus (je pense 140), niveau intimité la porte pour la sdb/wc est une porte coulissante sans verrou et on peut voir un peu sur le côté donc pas idéal si vous partager votre chambre avec un proche ou la belle-famille mais tt est propre et en très bon état. Parking couvert juste à côté si besoin

The customer service and amenities were excellent. From the front desk, to food service and housekeeping. Everyone was friendly and very accommodating. It felt like home away from home. Justin took care of all our needs and concerns, Ricardo is a super friendly, entertaining mixologist and Kamala a gracious server. We can’t wait to return.

Great stay! Extra shout out to Kevin who helped my husband in the gym. My husband is a serious gym goer and is actually pretty advanced when it comes to training. He and Kevin talked shop about mobility and functional training. Kevin even helped my husband with some dynamic stretches and trigger points for his shoulder. My husband appreciated it so much that he nagged me to write this review. Go Kevin! The hotel was great. Location, staff, cleanliness, comfort, and ease of check-in/out are all top notch.

The number of staff is definitely not sufficient. There are not many people walking and there was only one person serving the breakfast. One day we waited for 45 minutes and could not even get the breakfast. We were told that the kitchen would not get a new order until a new notice. Although we paid for the breakfast, we could not have it on that day and stopped trying again. The staff are not friendly or smiling. The lobby is really of poor quality as it feels like a canteen rather than a comfortable place. Overall, we are really disappointed with the service and quality of the hotel even though we did not pay less.

I found the hotel to be in an excellent location to explore New York. Our room was very comfortable, clean and modern. On a negative note I didn’t find any of the hotel reception staff particularly helpful or approachable. They failed to volunteer information regarding my bill regards all charges which would have been helpful to me and taken some of the stress away for my otherwise very enjoyable trip.

The location of hotel is perfect for sight seeing. It is close to grand central and lots of restaurants, CVS, coffee shops and a famous stake house as well. Trader’s Joe and laundromat are walking distance. And rooms are clean and beds are so good for sleep. I love a yoga mats to stretching after shower too. Only one thing which was dissapointted was the breakfast. It tastes super but it takes looong time to be served. If you go to the restaurant around 8am, you may have to wait more than 1 hour until you eat breakfast due to only one chef and one staff. I strongly recommend person who stay here, going to restaurant around 7am for breakfast if you do not wait too long. Given that point I strongly recommend you to stay this hotel enjoying life in New York.
