Upon my arrival, the woman at the counter looked very disheveled and unprofessional in the manner of dress code. Then to add to that quite unfriendly and rude, perhaps, I am used to a classy standard of service, whereby one is greeted and there is even a welcoming smile….this never materialized at this hotel.
The room very dark and gloomy,the sheets
and the spread, not sure if they were clean….the walls and the doors especially the bathroom area needs to be painted. A very depressing room it was. Then, upon trying to close in the connecting room door on my entrance of the room, an extremely loud violent banging on the door occurred. So naturally,I called the front desk , related my frightening experience to the same women from when I checked in…unfortunately for me, she did not seem to be phased by my uncomfortableness to stay in that room , at all. She told me the security would come upstairs…no one never did. I had also requested to be moved from that room, of which she answered the entire hotel is booked up.
So I called Expedia, thank goodness for Gabby the Expedia agent ( I got Gabby after 3 attempts ) she stayed on phone with me , and got another hotel for me. However, I must mention, that on one of my attempts to reach an agent, once more I had the horrible , annoying experience of dealing with and agent, who appear to oppose everything I described. When I asked the hotel representative to change my room, she told me no rooms, and to expedia , the room was empty.Lies
