Sel-Hotel Myvatn - ligger i et fantastisk område.
Rolig beliggenhed. Dejlige omgivelser. Godt spisekort og god service. Ridning og varme kilder nærmest i baghaven. Myvatn-området er et sted, hvor man sagtens kan blive i flere dage, vi er glade for de ekstra dage vi tog på vores rundrejse.

Great hotel in magical surroundings
Great experience. Great ambiance with old dark wooden furniture. Breakfast was brilliant. Beds were good. One minus was the heat regulator in the shower in my room. Alternated between cold and burning hot without manipulation of the faucet. Very annoying.

Great accomodation, nice amenities like hot tub and sauna. Location right near a beautiful viewpoint on the lake. Restaurant and breakfast were fantastic and staff was very friendly.

Best location for Northern area exploration; very friendly staff; good on-site restaurant; knows extremely well what tourists need in the area; aurora wake-up service etc. building & equipments a little outdated, but no complaints, they’re fully reflected in price.

This propery is right on the lake and across the street from the pseodocraters. Su h a nice walk even in the brisk air. The restaurant in the hotels serves a delicious dinner and dessert. There breakfast spread was enormous and the food was delicious.

Theproperty was across the road for Lake Myvtan and beautiful! Staff was helpful, food was good. Laundry service fast and affordable.

We were snowed in during our stay and the hotel staff was great and kept us updated on when the roads would reopen. The food is excellent also

Rude waitress and she messed up dinner order. Did not return to restaurant. Other than the waffles the breakfast was poor and couldn't eat.

No lox’s for breakfast ☹️ other restaurants had lox’s. Being a fishing town you would think they would have that.

Receptionists are very friendly. We arrived early before the allowed check in time however, they accommodated our request. Room was very spacious. It was warm however during the course of the night it really got so warm. Overall it was great! One thing, the dinner buffet was pricey for the selection of food.just saying!!!

Really enjoyed our stay here compared to other places in the area. Sel Hotel was right across the street from a nice trail to walk along the lake and see some craters, as well as sheep! Our roomwas nice, breakfast was ok, dinner was quite good!

The hotel and the staff were fabulous! They woke us up (as requested) to see the Northern Lights. Dinner in the dining room was the best we had in Iceland.

Place was very nice, staff was excellent. They called us out to see the northern lights, because very unusual given the time of year in early September. Enjoy playing darts, watching sports on TV in addition to see if anything phenomenon.

This is the best hotel we stayed in iceland. From our window, we can see the lake. Hotel is clean and has great food. All the staff are very nice and helpful. We also did the laundry service at hotel and drop clothes off at night and it’s ready to go in the morning. Highly recommended .

Bon séjour à Myvatn
Hôtel spacieux au bord du lac. Grande chambre familiale, grande entrée pour stocker les bagages, coin salon, vue lac. Restaurant très correct avec des produits locaux (pris à la carte et pas le buffet). Petit dej complet et beaucoup de choix. Personnel très professionnel.

Très bon séjour.
Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel très agréable. Le personnel est très serviable. Les chambres sont top, grande et avec baignoire. Les repas sont soit à la carte soit en buffet à volonté et les prix sont corrects.
Petit déjeuner à volonté
L'un des plats du buffet parmi bien d'autres, la soupe à l'agneau.

Rooms were large, spacious and comfortable. Ate in the restaurant as limited dining close to the hotel but food was good.
