Everything was amazing. We loved sipping on cocktails while relaxing in the outdoor spa and pool. Food was incredible! Highly recommend Doot Doot Doot restaurant. We have already booked in another trip next year! :)

5* rating - but need to hire more staff !
Hotel is beautiful - views across the vineyards from infinity pool are stunning. Rooms are very well appointed, great bathrooms and free minibar a nice touch. However - only negative point - the service was *excellent* by the staff - I cannot fault the effort by the people working there ... BUT - they felt understaffed across hotel. 1 poor guy/girl working pool service for 16-20 people on beds. 1-2 boys or girls on front desk with no porters to help luggage so they have to do that. At times they seemed over-run. Great shame because everything else was faultless - and the staff were great, they just had too much to cover

Sexy, Slightly out of Focus
The property is gorgeous: the vineyard, the pool and the interior common space design. The staff was perfectly nice but for example there was no one coming out to the parking lot to collect luggage as we arrived and left, they misplaced our car key briefly. The rooms seem to focus on design over function & practicality. The bedding was not as nice as other hotels at this price point. The breakfast was fabulous! Delicious, fresh and with excellent service. And the on demand in room popcorn was a nice fun touch. At a slightly lower price point it would have been perfect. At these prices it could have used a tiny bit more attention to detail.

There is so much to like about this property if you are young and into canned rap music! We for the three nights there and arrived Saturday mid afternoon. They had 3 Hens parties and the noise in the restaurant Rare Hare was intolerable! There was seating outside but not enough umbrellas and at 29 degrees just too hot. The bar which is lovely was also too noisy and again the canned rap music. We sat outside of there again no umbrellas with rap music blaring outside and we were the only ones there but they couldn’t turn it down. The good is absolutely delightful and could not fault this especially the breakfasts which are to die for ! We did the degustation menu on Sunday night (part of the Indulgence package) whilst the good was beautiful you either like them or not! This was served in Doot Doot Doot their signature restaurant. Doot Doot Doot is the only restaurant open on a Monday and only does deguststion so unless you want to pay the price or do the same dinner you have to go off site. They will make the booking and take you to/from the restaurant. Again the canned music which we asked to be turned down and then it was so appalling we had to ask them to change the music, WHY do restaurants/retreats think that everyone likes the music and likes it loud. They were a few oldies - 50 and over and I spoke to a couple who complained about the same thing.

Great servce, we had to leave early so they had a breakfast box and coffee ready for us so we wouldnt miss breakfast. Stunning venue, amzing food and great staff.

It would have got five stars for everything but the service in the bar did not quite match the other brilliant staff. Personally we thought the dining room was a bit severe and too regular in layout but we are being super critical. And should have opened the net curtains for breakfast to enjoy the view- super critical again

ブドウ畑の目の前でとても落ちつたホテルです。 ホテルのインテリアは一言でいうとクール。イメージは何となくクラブっぽい感じです。ゲスト専用のトイレは未知との遭遇のような、、、 ホテルのプールはインフィニティ―プール。 ゲストが少ないので、とてものんびりできます。 プールサイドではアイスクリームのサービスがありました。

一切都很满意！
入住JACKALOPE有种当农庄主的感觉，黄昏时分躺在温泉泳池中看着对面的葡萄园非常的解压！ 所有的沐浴用品都是我喜欢的杜松香调，晚上睡觉发现连枕头都用了杜松来熏香，整个酒店的硬件和房间细节都做的非常好 另外还尝试了酒店的晚餐和酒吧的鸡尾酒，都相当不错，有惊喜！

Fabulous Stay
My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Jackalope for my birthday. Our stay was absolutely amazing, from arrival to departure, The ladies at reception were helpful and nothing was a bother. Great infinity pool and don't forget to bring your bathers! We would definitely stay again.

Amazing experience
Could not fault Jackalope, from the thoughtful extras to the striking architecture. Friendly, professional staff, gorgeous views, fabulous food. Magnificent swimming pool with spa (great massages) and bar areas. Painstaking attention to detail. Staying at Jackalope is an unforgettable experience!

Absolutely loved this place. Feels like another world. Every intricate detail taken care of and artistry at its best. Right down to the plates, cups and cutlery at Doot Doot Doot (in house dining) through to every detail taken care of in our rooms. Definitely go for the vineyard rooms rather than terrace if you get the chance the views are amazing. We also loved Rare Hare at the cellar door which was adjacent the car park entrance to Jackalope. Great wines and great casual setting overlooking the amazing vineyard views. Our only small criticism was dinner at Doot Doot Doot. It was good but didn't WOW us. Way too much effort on presentation and not enough focus on flavour and taste. Eg crispy skin duck needs to be crispy and most dishes lacked seasoning. And no I am not an overly critical eater or harsh critic. However based on the whole complex and expectations thats where they could have improved. Breakfast at Doot Doot Doot was fantastic. And YES would would rush back to Jackalope in a heartbeat.

great overall experience. Only thing lacking was the front-of-house staff. We didn't get a proper check in, and had to ask for all the details during our stay (e.g. times for breakfast). We paid for a package, but had to ask for everything or they would not have offered (for example our package included martinis and caviar on arrival, and we would not have had this unless we asked, and we didn't realise until the last night, so certainly wasn't on arrival). Food was incredible, and restaurant staff were fantastic. Also there was some mix up with the bill - at checkout they gave us a bill for everything that was meant to be included in our package!! wasn't a problem getting it fixed up, but I think (for a very expensive hotel) they should be on top of all of this!! Few things need smoothing out with the reception staff - they just all seemed very inexperienced.

Truly opulent, interesting and beautiful hotel
Had a wonderful weekend at Jackalope, despite terrible weather! The staff are friendly and so attentive, the interiors are beautiful, quirky - themed around "alchemy". We would have loved to use the outdoor areas - lovely pool and terraces for enjoying gorgeous vistas of vineyards and hills. It's not cheap - but there are lots of inclusions, the food is awesome. Great for a special occasion.

One for romantics.
Great 5 course tasting menu backed by a brilliant wine list, funky décor and a comfortable room...what's not to like? Check-in personable to the extent of asking...and using...partner's first name. 5 course tasting menu creative, delivered by friendly, knowledgeable staff (one of whom, seeing my enjoyment of the bread served with the meal, carefully wrapped and sent me home with half a loaf!) Wine list a delight to dip into (to the detriment of the bank account!). Breakfast is a la carte, and excellent. Bar a funky design, possibly not large enough on a rainy day, but the patio overlooking the vineyard is good for sunsets. Hotel design less challenging than it appears in photos; the black of the structure provides a counterpoint to the green of the surroundings. The vineyard side of the hotel, which is also patio, pool and gym side, is much easier on the eye than the 'Car Park side'...try to make the right choice. Rooms well-appointed, bed comfortable, design touches all over...although 'uninhibited' bathroom facilities may need some work-arounds for sensitive souls. Overall, a brilliant hotel, well-presented and worthy of a return visit.

Special place
Service and food was amazing. Even went into the spa despite the winter weather as was nicely heated and a highlight for the kids. Breakfast was one of the best and will go back to rare hare. We're also wonderful with our 3 little children that stayed with us. The only negative was the aircon/heating in the lair as blew right onto the king bed so had to turn off which resulted in a freezing night and The worse sleep for me along with most of us catching colds :(

Luxurious and sexy
I was very pleased from the moment I stepped foot in the door. The staff were amazing and attention to detail. The only fault I had was the dinner and breakfast at Doot Doot Doot... they should think about designating 1 waiter to a table as I found we had to many people serviing us. But that was minor.

The hotel was absolutely amazing. It's so new and impressive. The bed was super comfortable. The bath was amazing! Check in and out was so easy with friendly staff. The complimentary mini bar and breakfast was great. We had dinner at rare hare as the restaurant was booked out before we could make a reservation. We had a complimentary drink at the cocktail bar which was great. The whole experience was great. Very luxiourous night away from our toddler. Our only complaint was when we tried to book a massage and change our dinner reservation, we were waiting on the hotel to call us back with the arrangements and by the time we called again the next day they had booked out all the massage sessions for our stay. Beautiful hotel overlooking the beautiful winery. Highly recommend :)

Beautiful experience.
The hotel is new but runs like it's been open for years. The staff were super professional, on pointe, and always find that level between professional serious andpersonable/ fun/passionate which we loved. The hotel is fun and cool and unexpected, and that flows through to the service and food. Everyone was passionate about what they do and it shows. Attention to detail in the room, cellar door, doot doot doot, housekeeping, the check in staff everyone, was amazing. The small things make it special - The art, the finishing, the turn down service, the pool, the views, the design, the cutlery and crockery! Doot doot doot was just as if not more amazing than melbourne hatted places. I'll expect a hat from them in the coming year. We had the 4 courses, got into their wines and whiskey on offer. Staff were knowledgeable and passionate and - had hands down the best dessert (choc) and sherry match I have ever had. Overall on par with Vue DaMonde and Dinner by Heston. Keep up the work! The pumpkin was our fave- mind blowing! . We can't wait to come back for a longer stay. A very special place. Worth every cent. . Our only thing was being able to see and hear someone on the toilet in the bedroom. Clear as day. A designers flaw deeming practicality less important than design. We overcame this by having a laugh about it and using the bathrooms near doot doot doot. If they addressed this, I would have nothing to fault the hotel on.
