Dejligste hotel i Marseille
Vi havde 5 fantastiske overnatninger. Hotellet var helt i top, dejligt rent værelse med en dejlig udsigt over bylivet på haven. Personalet var meget venlige og da vi oplevede en fejl omkring betaling, blev det hurtigt løst uden problemer. Klart her vi ville bo igen, hvis turen går til Marseille.

Perfect Location
Very good hotel: nice atmosphere, excellent service and a perfect location. Splendid view over Vieux Port. The only thing missing was a terrace facing the harbour.

Receptionen var under istansættelse. Vi skulle derfor benytte en kedelig og støvet side indgang uden elevator og slæbe kuffert til første sal, hvor receptionen var midlertidigt indrettet i baren. Fik tildelt et meget lille værelse, som dog på baggrund af klage blev opgraderet til et stort med to vinduer og fantastisk udsigt, men ingen altan som angivet hos Hotel.com. Personalet var meget venlige. Udsigten vidunderlig. Morgenmaden god.

Meget veltillavet morgenmadsbuffet med stort og for Provence karakteristisk sortiment. Adgangsforholdene var improviserede, da hovedindgangen var under renovation og adgang var fra bagsiden af hotellet

Et fint hotel med næsten 200 års historie.
Derfor perfekt beliggenhed i centrum med udsigt over Vieux Port. Gedigen service af professionelle ansatte. Man føler sig forkælet. Sat i stand med moderne faciliteter for nogle år siden. Stilen dog sikkert fastholdt med kvalitetsmøbler og istandsættelse af oprindelige skabe, stole m.m. Eneste minus: morgenmaden koster 23€ p.person, men hvis man ikke kan spise så meget kan man jo gå ned på havnen i solen og få en lille complet for 7,5€.

Close to the port & many restaurants & bars. Reasonably quite room & very quiet when the windows closed at night. Reception staff excellent, bar staff may need more training (unsure of some basic cocktails). Basin hand soap dispenser empty & not replaced for complete stay (4 days). Would recommend overall.

It wasn’t the property’s fault that the streets outside were blocked off and urine soaked. While our suite had an AMAZING view out of both sides, the curtains smelled really bad, especially in the bedroom. They need a good laundering. Went to the bar for ice and the bartender was a jerk. Breakfast was really good but like most things in Marseilles WAY over priced.

Perfect location to enjoy the old port of Marseille. It is an older hotel but the two balconies and amazing views were great. Room has all the features you need. Given the price I would highly recommend.

We were in Marseilles for a day, on the way to Paris and to finish our French Riviera trip. Marseilles was our least favorite city on this tour. We knew the area would be crowded and busy, and had low expectations. With that said, the hotel is well situated and convenient with a nice view of the port. The fridge had free drinks. However, the property is very dated. I do not feel that anyone cleaned our room as the bathtub had some concerning "stains" on it. The soap on the sink appeared to be already used. The property seemed under-staffed. In fact, when we checked in, our taxi driver loaded up all the luggage on the bell cart and the front desk did not help at all in this. Overall, for the price that I paid which is rather high, this was certainly not worth it at all.

We have chosen to preserve its historic charm through our furniture and our authentic atmosphere.Concerning your bathroom, I am sorry that it did not meet your expectations. These are our old bathrooms which will soon be renovated. I can confirm that our rooms are cleaned every day, however wear and tear has marked some of our bathrooms.In the interest of eco-responsibility, our bathroom products are available in dispensers. These are only changed once the product is empty.Regarding your arrival, I am sorry that our receptionist present was busy and could not assist you with your luggage.I present our sincere apologies. This in no way reflects our usual quality of service. We were in the king suite. The Chopin Room is very dated and they moved us to the other suite. Great view from the balcony. Rooms need updating. Staff is very helpful. I don’t feel the hotel is worth the price

I loved this hotel! The staff was so warm, friendly and helpful. Location is beyond perfect! My room was a bit dark, but nothing you can do about that; the location was not sunny and I looked down on dingy and dark objects. But overall, I loved my stay! It is perfect location for my first time in Marseille and to meet the needs of what I had to do for my job.
