Nice small apartment however was not cleaned to a good standard. The apartment did have a distinct smell which was not pleasant. We had to open the windows to air it out. Also there was a foot mark on the wall and there were ants on the floor.

Generally it was a very nice place to stay. It's size was good and it had a little kitchen which makes eating and drinking easier. My only complaint was that there wasn't a vanity in the bathroom.

I recommend staying there
Very good location close to Gloucester Road Underground, Tesco, cafes, Natural History Museum, Hyde Park nearby. Friendly staff at reception. Not so much clean though but for a few days it's more than perfect.

Workers were not very friendly or helpful, and the rooms are quite barebones. Also we noticed that the room itself was not very clean when we got there (stains on walls)

The Roland House is under a half mile from 2 tube stops, which made it very easy to travel around and get to and from the airport. The proprietors were very accommodating in allowing us to check in early after flying all night. The kitchen facilities really helped us out in storing breakfast food and drinks. Fabulous water pressure in the shower too and comfy bed. Overall very quiet and laid back.

Not very helpful when trying to check in, me leeway with time. We booked 3 rooms and asked for a little help with 1 room to put our belongings safely but we’re told no, we were going to a festival that started at 14.00 and we were not able to leave to check in but were still told no…. Instead we had to keep our bags in an unlocked room and go to our festival worrying about our belongings, we then booked in at around 23.30 which is not ideal when you are tired. The rooms were great though and clean.

Mattress is made of concrete.
I liked the Apartment very much, I often stay over in London if I go to Concert. I even commented that If I had to work away I would like to stay somewhere like this apartment. But the mattress was rock solid and so uncomfortable, I could not sleep, so I went to the sofa that I discovered was a Sofa bed, this was as equally as uncomfortable, I spent the next day in pain.

Good friendly staff.Accomodation is in a good location, bus stop outside for going into central areas.We had the 2 bedroom apartment which was basic but had everything we needed and was clean throughout.Would stay here again.

For the price this place was ok, but it was pretty run down. The fan didn't work, there was exposed earthing wires behind the sink, the metal bathroom shelves were rusty, there was a stain on the sofa. It was pretty clean though, and for the area you probably won't get much better unless you significantly up your budget.

Avoid....this place is a dump. The bed was so uncomfortable, mattress is clearly old and needs replacing. The floors make huge noise so all night all you could here was people moving about....its the worst place i've stayed in years!

Good place to stay, well located
Property was clean and provided all we needed and better than average hotel room Comfortable. Cooking facilities were basic (we didn't need). Room very spacious, good bath with rain shower. Nearby many good restaurants, pubs, café etc, so it was well located and away from traffic noise often encompassed in hotels facing a mian street.
