Good location, rooms in need of an update
Generally a good hotel with good service, kind staff and a practical location. When we first arrived, we were impressed with the location, reception area and staff service. However, our rooms appeared out of date with deep scratches on furniture surfaces, worn carpets, holes in the wall where there had once been decorations etc. The rooms were not cleaned properly (a lot of hair on bathroom floor and in sink, marks from dirty shoes etc) and even after informing the main desk and a visit from housekeeping the room still had dirty floors, dusty shelves etc. The hotel staff was very helpful in this connection, though. We had booked two rooms and the difference in size and amenities - at the same price - was striking. One was roomy with a lot of floor space, a lovely sitting area and a larger bathroom with amenities such as robes, with the other being a confined room with just enough room for basis furniture and a small bathroom, with only basic amenities (no robes etc.). The beds were very comfortable and we all had good and quiet nights of sleep, despite our room facing a rather bush street.

It's a nice enough hotel and I like Bloomsbury as a place to stay in London. It was the marathon weekend, so one expects a price hike. BUT - £583 pounds for two nights in a mid range hotel with no breakfast included is extortionate. They were asking for an additional £25 each for breakfast, so we had that round the corner at Leon. I get that it's all about supply and demand, but there's loads of other places in the World with great hotels at a fraction of the price, so won't be going back to London in a hurry.

Fantastic stay at the Kenilworth location of Radisson Blu! Perfect size room, accommodation was excellent and the amenities were very nice. Loved the little “clean room/do not disturb” switch inside the room, wish more hotels did that. Was a convenient location for public transit and getting around London. Only about 30 minutes walk from Big Ben. Will be returning to London and plan to come back to this location of Radisson Blu. Thank you to all the staff!!!

Chose this hotel for close proximity to the museum, and it was a 1 minute walk away which was super convenient. Got breakfast included and did not disappoint, highly recommend going to their attached restaurant. Rooms were nice and simple, appreciated the umbrella to use during stay, and complimentary slippers which we used for the next couple stays around UK. Check in and out was fast thanks to kind staff. The lift (elevator) was very small, barely able to fit 4 people in it, but we just used it when we checked in and out with all our bags, however don't expect other guests to take the hint and use the stairs.

Requested twin room was told that as I had not booked direct with them I was given a double so mother and adult daughter had to sleep together and then was made to pay another 150 just in case I spent anything in the hotel, coincidentally the cost of breakfast every day which we did not book or need !! If you don’t want anyone to book anything other than direct remove yourselves from other platforms. It did spoil our weekend theatre break somewhat. Will not book this chain again.

The room wasn’t what I expected. A lot smaller than the picture stated. And nothing like the lovely, fresh, bright entrance that that you walk in to. The reception area and the bedroom was like too different hotels. Hotel room was dark, small and basic. Not worth the price.

As soon as we walked through the door, we could smell how clean the hotel was! Polite and friendly staff at the front desk - nothing was too much trouble. The concierge staff were also very helpful when checking bags in (we were able to leave them before check-in time). Everything you could need in the room - from bottled water to robes and slippers. Spotlessly clean and beds comfortable. All in all, an excellent stay and ideal for our visit to the Dominion theatre - just a 5 minute walk.
